The movie was interesting in a way. There were picturesque landscapes and the main actor was stunning.I never saw in my life such a good looking young man who fell for such a mediocre and crazy Russian girl. The main actor was tender and sweet, doing everything he could to satisfy that Russian beast girl. She never actually reciprocated to his tenderness and affection that he offered her. The Russian lady provoked a lonely and dysfunctional man-- the balding character -- who because of that lady's provocation kept stalking the couple. The balding man even though he appeared dangerous was just sick and harmless. The Russian lady made use of him to manipulate her American lover. When the balding man approached the couple in the forest with a knife in his hand, and when he was subdued by the stunning American guy the Russian lady on purpose stuck a knife into the perpetrators back. Later on he was found dead and the couple were making love next to the dead guys corpse. I wouldn't imagine that sensitive and stunning American guy ever becoming so dull as to make love next to dead corpse unless he had been manipulated by the reckless and deprived of any emotions Russian lady.A mere infatuation. A blind pursuit of what is unknown and can burn and spoil. The American guy, as stunning as he was, deserved more than only a greedy and pampered Russian lady from some place in the middle of somewhere, in the "Tajga" as she admitted.
