BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
SummerMood This is probably the best comedy which I've seen for about two months now. I laughed so much. It is an excellent comedy and I don't get it why all the people hate this movie. Because of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? No they are such nice, funny, beautiful girls/young women. They are also great actresses! So why you hated that movie? The story was funny. At first I didn't know if I should watch this movie because everybody hated it but then I'd watched it and I was surprised! It is great. The story: It's Jane's most important day in her academical life! If she got the scholarship she could go to Oxfort. Far far away from her annoying sister Roxy. Jane had to hold a speech in New York City. Roxy had to go to New York City too. So they went their together. But it gets very chaotic. At first they are thrown out of the train and then they are threatened by some "gangster".The story is so funny. I could not stop laughing. Watch it and you'll see that it is good!Ashley and Mary-Kate are great actresses. 8 of 10 stars for that funny kind movie.
Souvy If you're a Mary Kate and Ashley fan you'll love it, it's definitely the best film they have done yet. It shows them at probably their most likable roles, and being the most recent film from the double-act it shows what they are like right now. They act and even look very different now so it is less like their earlier films where they always looked the same and would even switch places - although there is a wee switch at the end of New York Minute where Mary Kate tried to help Ashley by reading her speech for her! It still has the classic Olsen twin moments where they realise how much they love being twins! It has all you'd want from a chick flick!
saugust OK I have a secret pleasure: I like Olsen twins movies. Shhhhhh! ;-) It all started when I was on a bus to NYC, they ran Mary Kate & Ashley's School Dance on the TVs. At first I groaned but then to my surprise I found myself getting caught up in it! While I thought that was a fun movie, New York Minute took it to a new level where a 27YO like myself can enjoy it on a more adult level. I think the plot was witty, original and refreshing. And the girls can really rock too! The concert scene was a lotta fun (trying to find MP3 files). People these movies are all about the fun so don't judge! It's nice to see that as the twins get older their movies adopt more of a "tween" edge. I encourage other post-tweenies ;-) to give MK & A a chance. For my money they are better than Lindsay Lohan...and that's coming from a Lindsay Lohan fan!!!
yodofrodo oh my god ! i luff this film ! its sick ! *laugh*. i think if anyone doesn't like this film then they suck. Mary Kate and Ashley rock ! to the person that was complaining about mean girls should shut up because thats films sick too ! kids learn about that stuff at school anyway so whats the point in hiding it from them ? and kids want to get away from their families early mainly because they don't like them that much in the first place, so what does that tell you. i don't meant to sound harsh or anything, but maybe you should think before saying tight stuff about things. anyway this film is great ! i luff Mary-Kate and Ashley !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this film ! whoopee. *laugh*. peace out xx
