I thought I was going to hear something interesting about Nostradamus' predictions in this History Channel documentary. Sadly, I was very disappointed seeing that the documentary only stated about "galactic alignment". Every 10 minutes or so, we hear the narrator talking about galactic alignment, which is quite disappointing as this is a 90 minute documentary! On the other hand, it was good to see Gregg Braden, who is the author of the Divine Matrix and the interviews were kinda okay. However, seeing this documentary made me realize that the History Channel is very biased. I mean, the end of the world?! Didn't Nostradamus predict something in 1999 about Genghis Khan? The documentary should have taken an alternative side as to what else might have happened, which angered me.I really knew this was gonna be total BS but it saddens me to think that mass-media notions still fool modern people into believing the end of the world.

Don't we know the really stereotype movie trailers that are all made the same way:a man with a deep voice "narrates" what the film is about, but actually makes sentences of pseudo-important platitude and nonsensical statements and questions;an over-dramatic background music (drums, horns, yes, even choirs!), suggesting a drama and greatness that later proves to be a forgettable popcorn movie;hundreds of small and rapid cuts in a two-minute trailer, bits of pictures and scenes that you are supposed to make sense of.And now, dear audience, we extend this bad habit of the film industry to full-feature size! The background music never stops, and the "narrator" is only interrupted by tiny incoherent statements from pseudo-experts - who tell us what? I couldn't summarize the hard facts as there were almost none.According to my principle that every movie gets 30 minutes to prove itself, this was shut down exactly after that period. It's a waste of time. Go read some good books, even about Nostradamus if you want.

This close as you can get to Nostradamus Quatrains. It gives a revelation of the upcoming catastrophic events before and in the year 2012 as predicted by the prophet Nostradamus. I feel the History Channel did a fairly good job delving into this topic as it is very controversial. To be quite honest, I was hoping it would be longer than it was. All I can say is, be open to the possibilities when watching this movie. As a spiritual message, the film is overwhelming, bringing tears of renewal to the believers in the audience. Even if you are not a believer, though, I still think there is something in this for you. This film will rock your world, and that's an understatement. In conclusion, not everyone will like this movie. Some will love it, and some will hate it. But, I think that if you should at least see it before you judge it. My opinion: 10/10

Although I would be slightly inclined to agree with kranav's comment, I still feel that the History Channel did a fairly good job delving into this topic as it is very controversial. To be quite honest, I was hoping it would be longer than it was.There is always one person saying "I can predict the next 500 years and I'm sure we'll be able to match an event up with at least on my predictions", the different is, Nostradamus has accurate predictions. Although his method with his drawings may seem ambiguous to some, there can only be so much that they can define. If someone is able to match up an event that has taken place or and event that will take place with his Quatrains then the only thing you can really do is consider it a possibility. All I can say is, be open to the possibilities when watching this movie and don't think that Dec 21st 2012 will be the end of the world as it can also be start of a new beginning.
