Java_Joe I'll admit walking into this I had no idea who Shane Dawson was. And after seeing this I really don't care to know who he is. This is his directorial debut and with luck it will be his last.Basic plot of the movie is young hot girl who has an annoying family life goes home for Thanksgiving and accidentally hits Shane Dawson with her car and they become a couple. It's pretty basic as far as plots go but that's not all you get.Do you like screaming? There's a lot of screaming in this movie because I guess screaming is considered comedy to the people who watch Shane Dawson. Do you like unfunny stereotypes? You'll find a lot of those here from the stereotypical Indian guy to the camp gay guy who doesn't realize he's gay to the overly sexed mother who wants to make out with every boy she meets. Did I mention there's lots of screaming? Just wanted to make sure. And lets not forget the poop jokes. Oh my, this movie is full of them. There's a homeless man who eats and drinks his own poop. That's funny right? Or the parents who are working out and the mother lets a huge wet fart just rip with a bit of an extra if you catch my drift. Yeah, poop and fart jokes are right up there on the humor scale. It goes Abbot and Costello "Who's on First". George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can't Say on Television". Then in third place poop and fart jokes. They were funny when you were 10 and you haven't grown up since. Can I say something nice about the movie? Well it did eventually end although I'll admit I wasn't paying much attention near the end. And it didn't make me want to gouge my eyes out and drive knitting needles through my ears so I guess that's something. But no. There are no redeeming factors about this movie. Unless you happen to be a fan of Shane Dawson and I would assume those to be 12-16 year old girls and 10-14 year old boys then give this movie a pass.And if you are a fan, please ask him not to make any more movies.

madigmonkey I think, as a fan of Drew Monson and Shane Dawson, That this Movie was really well made for a low budget. I think it was well made and thought out. One thing I would loved even more was if the kid throwing the big party's parents totally beat his ass. All in all, I love it and if Drew And Shane ever read this, I love you guys, your the best.Also if that crazy Ex girlfriend was a little more crazy and maybe beat up Scott before 'Doing Him' Would be entertaining. And did Shane ACTUALLY shave his hair off? And what did they use as the fake Vomit?I also love the fact that Drew's character acts a lot like him. And Shane's glittery boobs made me laugh for about ten minutes.

c-matassa Shane Dawson has always been a great youtuber, so I was anxious to see how his movie would pan out. It was actually better than I thought. This movie is constantly funny, great characters which you can relate to and a good storyline. However, there is a lot of crude and sexual references and humour - take it for good or bad. The acting was good - not great - but the actors were really lovable. There is a lot of current pop-culture social media references and other material which may not appeal to older audiences. Great first movie for Shane.This movie is going to be a hit with teens but not so much with adults. Therefore, my recommendation is:Watch it - if you're a teen, who just wants a funny yet witty comedy or an adult who doesn't mind constant sexual humourSkip it - if you don't like constant sexual, social media and pop-culture references, sex references and drinking, drugs and party references

Daniel Reilly Honestly I watched the Movie a few months ago(Before I was Subbed to Shane) I was with friends just looking for something to watch, one of my friends said I have that Shane Dawson movie, I said "What ever put it on". Honestly it's not the worst movie of all time nor its the best, it's just your run of the mill Outrageous Comedy. Maybe I'm apart of them "Un intelligent" group of people,that all these snobby critics are saying, but I found the movie to be funny. Bit silly at times? Of course, Were there jokes that weren't funny? Yes, but i found that I laughed so much I forgot about them one or two jokes. For a first film and with a small budget its not that bad, I think some people are looking to critically at the film and try to find deep meaning in it, but its just a raunchy comedy. Its like saying "12 year of slave" sucked cause it lacked comedy, but It was never meant to be seen as a comedy in the first place.The acting was good spare some of the cheesy(but sweet) monologues. I would give it a 6.5/10, Its a good Saturday night movie to watch with friends(Or family, if you're that comfortable with dirty jokes in front your parents) over a Take- Away. Honestly for me this was better than some of the comedy I saw this year **Cough** Interview, Bad Neighbours. **Cough**. After this movie Shane earned a Sub and I wish him good luck with any future projects. Show less
