Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Allison Davies
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This is the typical dull, boring and useless french movie. I'm stunned to see that every week in France we have a handful of releases like this and it's such shocking compared to the level french cinema was so far in the 80s. Here, everything stinks : the script is silly, the cast is mediocre, the production is cheap, the yellow cinematography awful ! It's a pity to see Leila doing so poor choices since quite a few movies: here she dresses one more time in rags and her character is rather stupid : in a way, her love is materialistic and means only a house ! Worst, when she has finally it, she cheats ! For those who think France and Paris are beautiful locations, well take a look at those french movies and you will choose another destination !
GUENOT PHILIPPE
First of all, that's not a crime thriller, but a drama. No gunfights nor investigation here. No, only the tale of a Young couple, whom the husband loses his job whilst he and his wife have already begun to pay for a house in the countryside. The two of them with their two kids are then on the edge of the cliff. No alternative to get out the jam. So, one evening, while returning home, the Young wife gets robbed in the street by a Young hoodlum. And just after, she is asked by the cops to testify against him at the police station. But at the last minute she suddenly refuses to. She has an idea...Well, all is not totally believable in here, but it is well shown, with convincing performances. And it's also a bit predictable. It remains a good little french drama. A good time waster.
