Reviews

Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
MartinHafer The Oscar choices for Best Animated Short left me and the audience at the theater confused and annoyed when we saw them this morning. Never before had I gone to a showing of the Oscar-nominated shorts (animated or live action) and heard people loudly grumbling about the poor quality of the selections until today. And, while I was not in love with "Nullarbor", it was better than a few of the nominees. The film is quite simple. It consists of a guy driving his convertible on the highway across the Outback of Australia when his urge for nicotine sets in and sets off a weird chain of events. The story has a few funny moments and the animation is decent (the backgrounds are rendered well). Nothing brilliant, but a nice little film that might make you chuckle. Parents might want to think twice before showing this to little ones, however, as there's some vomiting and a few crude scenes. Still, well worth seeing.
