Synopsis

Husband and wife, Will and Dawn, are in financial crisis after learning the job Will was counting on to salvage their financial future has disappeared in the midst of a market collapse. They set out to drive home on the winter highway back to their city, and in a moment of altruism, pick up siblings Lee and Cheryl, a pair of hitchhikers on their way to start a new life. In the midst of the night they nearly collide with an old man wandering on the snowy highway, hyperthermic and horrifically frostbitten. While searching for his ID they discover a wad of cash, a hand drawn map with GPS coordinates, and a single gold coin inside his coat. Will and Dawn reluctantly go along with Lee’s plan to report him to the police as a John Doe and pocket the money. In an attempt to save their financial struggles, all four venture off into the snowy wilderness in search of the buried gold.

Laikals The greatest movie ever made..!
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
mike-stanford-833-697126 This film was so bad that I just feel compelled to leave a revue. All the fake reviews from people whose home is Canada (coincidentally where the film was shot) giving it a 10 are so obvious. Read the 'real' reviews before you watch this pile of garbage. By three-quarters of the way through, I was laughing so much, I was convinced that it had been misrepresented as a thriller and that it was actually a comedy. The acting was so bad and the storyline so unbelievable that I just had to keep watching, even though I nearly gave up on it before it was halfway through. For those fellow English viewers of a certain age, you will have to ask yourself why Mrs. Overall was staggering through the woods at one stage. Thank you, directors and producers, for the funniest comedy I have seen in ages.
dmcalpine-91960 watched this movie start to finish hoping it would get better it had great film work and actors were OK but story was completely predictable it was also padded out so much i nearly fell asleep it was not believable that they would be so stupid to enter these conditions unprepared for the cold just they were greedy to be frank i thought the film was pointless and a waste of my valuable time i do not know how it achieved a positive rating it annoyed me to say the least the ending was terrible and it was like reading about some boring story where people have to be rescued by experts because they went out into dangerous conditions against professional advice which happens quite a lot in real life it was a poor and pointless film worse than a poor TV movie do not watch or you will be annoyed at the terrible and sad ending
frbbcasw NUMB is a clever, deceptive, gem of a movie that pulls together a brilliant ensemble of actors, a compelling script, a moving musical score all in service of powerful storytelling. The story of two couples who desperately plunge into a frozen wilderness in search of treasure is believable, framed against the backdrop of the characters' personal financial desperation. The motif of humans struggling against the frozen landscape is augmented by Jamie Barber and Stephanie von Patten's portrayal of almost naive urban desperation juxtaposed against the brutal, suspicious, strangely sympathetic but increasingly paranoid portrayals of Alex Paunovic and Marie Avgeropoulos. NUMB will chill, thrill, disturb and lead to animated post-movie conversations. This is a 'must see' movie and tour de force for Director Jason Goode and Producer Dylan Jenkinson.
auntyshawa I enjoyed Numb so much and highly recommend it if you are looking for a night of suspense and entertainment. Incredible, and so Intense, had me at the end of my seat at times waiting for what would happen next. Beautiful scenery. Amazing casting. Please if you want to see a Great movie this one should be on your Best choice list. Numb is completely original to any other movie i have seen before. Great storyline. Such a thrilling sense of anticipation and wonder of what is going to happen to each character. The make up work on the actors made me feel the senses they were feeling and also was so artistic and real. This movie is Worth every penny to see it on the Big screen.
