Surprisingly incoherent and boring

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

PANIC BUTTON is another low budget 'single location' thriller about a group of people trapped in one place and forced to confront some unpalatable truths about themselves. Although much is made of the plane setting, the lack of a special effects budget means that this might as well be set anywhere: a train carriage, a cellar, you name it.The film has much in common with your usual thriller in this mould and indeed one of the cast, Jack Gordon, would go on to be in the almost identical TRUTH OR DARE (which was much better, by the way). The usual problems unfold, namely poor scripting which takes the form of unlikeable cast members you either don't care about or actively wish bad stuff to happen to.The low budget nature of the production precludes the presence of any name actors and the best they can come up with for a lead is a former EASTENDERS actress, Scarlett Alice Johnson. None of the actors are particularly bad, but they're not great either when saddled with such underwhelming characters. I appreciate that the emphasis is on the psychological here rather than unnecessary torture porn but the running time does drag and there's not much to get excited about when all is said and done.

the beginning of the movie is extremely thought-provoking and plays on contemporary concerns about internet privacy, but then it all turns a bit silly and random with all the killing..i could almost tolerate the silly random killing if it wasn't for the TERRIBLE cringe-worthy acting from everyone starting with the plane voice-over/tannoy, and the unrealistic (typical of most Brit horror) script trying to portray shock and fear. i think it would have been way more sinister if the plane voice-over was robotic instead of the judging tone similar to the narrator of 'come dine with me'.i was very disappointed that after the tense 'round 1', instead of getting more cruel and intrusive, the writers ran out of ideas and brought out the killing.

This movie is in the tradition of the SAW sequences but a lot less attractive/interesting, less bloody OK but I rather watch a SAW movie than this one. Especially the very unsatisfying end. After watching the end you get the bad feeling like "I watched this movie for nothing", a regret to take time to watch it. The movie starts OK, interesting, in the beginning you think this movie exposes the threats of social media but along the way it gets too ugly and unrealistic. Forget about this movie, it's worthless. The thing I really oppose is the threaten of a child by the "bad guy", should be forbidden in movies like this. Really awful.

This movie is not deserving that bad critics like awful. There are a lot of movies in this genre and style which are really awful but as a British movie in his own style with unknown characters i think its above average. And if you like this genre and enjoy movies like this you can watch and have fun. At least there are acceptable logics and reasons of the story . Don't expect a first class movie , its law budged but still worth to watch as i say if you like this kind. 6 stars means for me above average and most of the movies are like that. You don't have to have sympathy or dislike for the characters but you can still empathize to some of events.
