Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation
ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Rahul Purohit One thing which should be clarified that people say it is a copy of movie "Hitch" But partner is very different from Hitch. The common thing between both the movies is a person is helping another to impress a girl of his dreams, just this doesn't can't be called the point of copy.So go for partner you will be entertained completely.A distinction mark for Govida acting we can say it is complete Govinda movie. If you are a comedy movie lover then you enjoy this movie for sure and yes you will be more entertained in this movie than hitch.Govinda acting will make you laugh at many times.Yes it has some dull moments but they are just very few next to ignorance so don't make it a point of not watching this movie. So watch laugh enjoy with whole family😊

Thomas Diemer I just don't see how another commentator could not enjoy this movie.I saw all five of the music numbers on music compilation DVD's and they were stupendous. So when I joined Netflix, Partner was the first movie and second title (the first was Swingtown) that I ordered. The movie was a hearty and up beat comedy. Like I said in the summary a combination romantic comedy and buddy movie. The characters were all very likable, I had no trouble enjoying the writing, the plot was great and even had a few unexpected twists. And of course the all important music and dance numbers were well spaced and dynamite. All of the acting performances were excellent but Our Man Sal Man, Govinda and Ali Haj as the little boy, Rohan, stood out.Since so many people were so down on this movie and comparing it most unfavorably with Hitch - I decided to see Hitch over the weekend. I had only viewed one Bollywood remake and Hollywood original, and that was Chhodon Naa Yaar after Blair Witch Project - and I thought both were stupid. So I decided to see Hitch after PArtner to see what all of the hoopla was about. Actually I really liked both. It is no secret that Bollywood films, shall we say, heavily borrow, from Hollywood films so when one does, why complain. I see no reason to put down one or the other, both were very good and both have their place. Why not enjoy both of them.As has been pointed out, several scenes from Partner were directly copied from Hitch. The front of Priya's father's house is an exact copy of Allegra Cole's. I had a lot of fun looking for and watching the duplications. I also liked the way a plot element was borrowed by Partner, but given a different twist. At he same time the movies had a lot of plot differences. I still have to say I like Partner just a little bit better. BUT that does not count the five - seven if you count opening and ending credits - gang-buster, show-stopping musical numbers in PartnerIt might not be the greatest movie ever made, but it does not claim to be. I thoroughly enjoyed it and do not need to see Hitch!!
tintin Soon after this movie was released,Salman Khan was handed over a 6 Year Imprisonment.(Read further to know why am i mentioning this.)And i heaved a sigh of relief. Not that i was happy that he got jail for something which because he was a celeb but i was happy cus this meant No more Salman Khan movies,no more his histrionics and no more over hyped Acting(read Overacting). This movie made no sense whatsoever. The scene where the kid belonging to one of the family makes a rocket which was voice activated .According to the movie script it would chase anyone. But ultimately it finds only Salman Khan Bare Chested. Well this is what happened. The Rocked gets activated in another foolish way and you have to have an IQ of .001 to believe that. Then it chases Salman Khan ,who was on his water scooter and the chase continues unless he is done with all the possible stunts he could show to foolish audience. (In my regard all those people who have given this movie 5 and above ,unless they are paid to do that.)Another of breath taking ,unbelievable scene was at the end when all the arrangements about the marriage is made and Salman Khan with Govinda in Disguise comes and stall the marriage by another of those highly unwanted songs .Later on even though everything is done and ready a mere confession of govinda and Katrina Kaif to katrina's Father and Bingo . Everything is fine and Govinda marries Kartina....This made me wonder if convincing was so easy why did not they do that and tortured us for so many hours and wasted my Money. This movie is must avoid and don't even think it had any scene worth watching . The plot is way too disconnected with characters popping from no where and ultimately vanishing..for ex Choota don...What a waste of characters. After this movie i took a pledge that i would not watch Salman khan Movies for the rest of my life unless it wins an Oskar...(hahahah...which means i would never watch)
