Raul Faust Well, what I'm about to say has probably been said by a thousand of people out there, but I'm giving my two cents to it anyway. Last saturday I had a date and we decided, in the end of the night, to watch "Saw 3d", since we knew there was a new "Saw" out there in the theaters, so nothing better than remembering how it all (supposedly) ended. Gruesomenesses apart, the film has a quickly pacing, so we're given entertaining scenes all the time. There is no time to rest-- unless to rest in peace, if you agree with me that TOO MANY people die in this horror story! Also, I can't remember being able to give my date a kiss after the movie started; you know, there is so much torture, pain and blood that you feel like the world is just a hostile place to live in. However, what bothered me the most about 2010's "Saw 3D" was the level of technology and perfeccionism from Jigsaw. I mean, every creepy machine just worked out perfectly. As people walk, everything just lights up. The machines start. The records play. I simply can't believe that nothing ever fails. Jigsaw must have been an extraordinary (or extreterrestrial) mechanical engineer to ramp up all that stuff. I know that such things have been already noticed in the past 65746705213 movies from this franchise, but, in here, things are TOO visible to be ignored. At least by me. And by my date, who will never invite me for anything after this insane idea of us (or of mine.... I must confess).

TheLittleSongbird Finally saw all the 'Saw' films prior to seeing 'Jigsaw' (as part of my wanting to see as many 2017 films as possible this year, during a quieter and less intensive period). Heard a lot about the films, good and bad, but wanted to see them for myself to know what to expect.The films as an overall series are a very mixed bag. While not without its faults, the first film is the best, followed by the second and sixth, while the just straining average fourth film is bang in the middle and the fifth and especially this being the weakest. 'Saw 3D: The Final Chapter' couldn't have been a more underwhelming finish to a variable franchise and evidence of the novelty of a great premise being now well and truly dead. All the mistakes seen in the third and fifth films are repeated here and amplified while more is made on the way.'Saw 3D: The Final Chapter' is not a completely irredeemable mess. The music score is still eerie and in something of a miracle Tobin Bell cuts a malevolent presence despite Jigsaw being even more underused and misused than in 'Saw V'. Sean Patrick Flanery is also pretty good.Everything else fails. Visually, 'Saw 3D: The Final Chapter' is the worst-looking of the series. It's neither elaborate, claustrophobic or atmospheric, instead it's just extreme shoddiness and not only was the 3D very amateurishly constructed and poorly used it was completely pointless. Had a hard time believing that the same director who did so well in the previous instalment in tightening and steadying things and toning down what was done excessively in 'Saw III' and 'Saw V' also directed this film, almost like 'Saw VI' had been forgotten.Performances-wise, only Bell and Flanery are good. Everybody else has to work with thinly sketched characters that are either dull, annoying or both and a script that has replaced 'Saw V's' as the dreariest, most fatigued and contrivance-heavy one of the series. The excessively bland Costas Mandyler and irritating Chad Donella are especially poor.Mystery, suspense and creepiness are also completely missing, thanks to the shoddy production values, the over-reliance on gratuitously gruesome gore and violence, the serious lack of credibility and the severely rushed pacing. Although 'Saw 3D: The Final Chapter' has the highest trap/death count, it's also the most illogically and repetitively plotted 'Saw' entry. There is nothing clever or imaginative about the traps and demises (a huge problem when the whole film was basically a series of them), no surprising or logical twists and the ending has to be one of the most anti-climactic ones in horrordom.Overall, what started as a promising franchise completely petered out in the flattest of ways here. 2/10 Bethany Cox

lorcan-61881 Saw VII,I never actually got around to seeing,after Saw VI,I drift away from it,moving in to my own house,paying bills and sh*t,well,now,due to Jigsaw coming out,which by the way,I'll review either on Sunday or tomorrow night,I watched..boy! Was I in for a great treat! Saw VII is the "final chapter" in the Saw series continuing on to the end. Saw VII is definitely one of the worst horror films ever,there was not one thing that I liked,other wise then that I thought the series was finally going to die of weakness,nope! Saw VII had some of the weakest ever acting and,the traps,OH MY GOD,THE TRAPS!!! The traps were so awful,they took up like so much time and they were so awful! Tobin Bell never actually returned at all and that was sad,probably saw a few private filmed scenes and was like..OH HELL NO! I don't know what Saw VIII:Legacy or otherwise known as Jigsaw will be like,so far I have heard mixed reviews but it dose'int look bad,so lets hope,Saw 1,2,3,6 will come back and not 4,5 and 7. Saw VIII is nothing,literally..NOTHING!!

michaehastings SAW THE FINAL CHAPTER is the last of the SAW movies to come out before the tragic death of Amy Winehouse. She was only 27 years old. SAW 7 is in 3-D which means that if you wear special glasses, it's almost like you're right there with them. In this movie, Carey Elwes, who in the first film had his foot cut off in a manner similar to Kunta Kinte, is back, and is no longer suing the studio. But while Kunta Kinte had his foot cut off to keep him from escaping the horrors of slavery, Carey Elwes cut his own foot off because Jigsaw told him to. He works for jigsaw. It's worth mentioning that in every movie, the person who can't bring themselves to condemn Jigsaw for his actions is the one who is secretly working for him. It tells the story of Bobby, who has lied to the public about the nature of his Pectoral Scars. SAW3D (they should have done something with that title and the word "sawed") follows the late Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park, who plays a racist that his to tear off all his skin, get it. One of the traps is cage, that Bobby has to swing out of, over some comically large spikes, because HE LIED. Bobby sucks, and can't save anyone, so they all die. All of them. At the end, we get to finally see the Reverse-Bear Trap put to good use, just like father always wanted. HIGHLY Recommended.
