What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.

For having a relatively low budget, the film's style and overall art direction are immensely impressive.

Well acted movie , in particular Aly Michalka as the terminal cancer victim who goes to Sequoia National Park and attempts to take her own life via a slow acting medicine cocktail overdose . Sequoia is also the name of the worlds biggest trees which are found inside the park. Her dysfunctional family including Joey Lauren Adams give chase to find her before the deed is complete. They succeed but the dying girl's saving grace is a musician guy she meets on her quest who gives her a new lease in her life at least for a while. Joey Lauren Adams (the reason I watched) had a successful period between the mid to late 90s, then her career faded. Reduced to supporting roles mostly now. Her voice has always been squeaky. All in all, a decent movie.

Was a good emotional movie just should have had some better writers some of the exchanges between actors was a little confusing but the over all movie was great Some of the scenes seem to be dead weight and should have been cut out and scenes that may have been cut should have been tried before the movie was placed out in the theaters.now the actors did a great job with what was given them.it may have been the director who should have paid closer attention to the scenes and how they were acted out but over all it was a good movie and did have some emotional scenes that could have been played out a little bit better.I will recommend this movie to other because it keep me captivated all the way to the end
