It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Tanu Paalu is a taxi driver who likes the tour guide Ansa Koskeli.Tanu is also a music man, and he comes up with a catchy tune.Ansa comes up with words, and together they make a hit that sweeps the nation.SF-Paraati (1940) is directed by Yrjö Norta. It's leading stars are Ansa Ikonen and Tauno Palo, who share a big amount of screen chemistry.Siiri Angerkoski plays Ansa's mother Siiri Koskeli while Laila Rihte is the sister Laila.Leo Lähteenmäki portrays Tanu's brother Leo.Aku Korhonen portrays Aku Ruusunen.See, many of these actors share first names with characters.Kaarlo Angerkoski plays Anger.Antero Suonio is Suoni.Joel Rinne plays the part of Jopi Rintee.Jaakko Furman, a Finnish Jew drummer, plays Lasse Paalu.Composer Toivo Kärki is seen as Pianist.Georg Malmstén is Police Inspector.Jalmari Rinne is Benjamino Diabolo. The movie has some amusing moments. One that made me laugh was when Siiri and Aku end up singing on the radio. And every song portrayed in this film works.I'm talking about songs like "Nuoruuden Sävel" and Pot-pot-pot-pot-potkut sain".The master Georg Malmstén is behind the music.SF-Paraati is a good movie for those times when you have hunger for nostalgia.
