I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This is one of the best animated stories I've seen, since the early eighties, when I first watched it. Every time we went to the video rental store, my three young boys would always pick "Stanley, the Ugly Duckling". They would be entertained by this movie for hours, rewinding the tape to play their favorite parts and songs over and over again. We must have watched Stanley a dozen times, and that was just us adults. Anyway, many years have passed and Stanley, the Ugly Duckling, has not been forgotten. A new generation is on the way and I would love to buy this movie for the grandchild (and the adults). Does anyone know where I can get it from?

I have very little memory of this, but here is what I remember.(possible slight spoiler) This is a very cute cartoon about a duck who is basically shunned. He meets a fox (Nathan)and eagles that are in a motorcycle group (Hell's Eagles, a play on a famous motorcycle group). While it follows the general storyline of the classic story of the ugly duckling, the characters and setting are very different. Overall I think this is a good featurette/cartoon, and would love the opportunity to view this again. possible spoiler: In the end Stanely is supposed to learn a lesson about self-acceptance and it is what is inside that matters.

This movie just popped into my head for no reason today and I looked it up. I was shocked to see that it doesn't even have five votes yet. I was lucky enough to catch this on TV one day. I was in Haiti visiting family who ironically enough had cable (Disney channel to be exact), which I did not. I spent most of that summer watching TV :)But I digress. This was such the awesome movie! It's about a Duckling who gets mocked for being very effeminate. They like to call him special and he likes to remind them that he's "UNIQUE!" Some how, through a strange twist of winter events, he ends up saving the day. Yay! It's a cute story but what's more important is that it sends a message of tolerance and promotes self-esteem for kids growing up who may not fit in.I think Disney should air this film again. I wonder where I could find it.Oh well, if anybody reads this who hasn't seen it yet see it!!! (if you can. I'm going to try to find it and post it. You guys do the same).Happy Tuesday!!!
