This is one of the greatest movies of all time which isn't saying anything new really. Star Wars is just such an entertaining and perfect film overall that it deserves to be qualified as a masterpiece. There are so many great scenes in the film such as the opening, the cantina scene, everything on the death Star and of course the final battle to destroy the death star. The films practical effects still hold up and they look incredible, the score is amazing, the acting is great, the action is good, the characters are likeable and the story is good.Overall this film is just one of those rare perfect movies that is endlessly rewatchable.

This is one of the movies which is known for its pop culture and community that spread all over the world 'till this day. There are many factors can indeed happen why this movie is considered as one of the most influential, even George Lucas himself was inspired by Akira Kurosawa's various works such as Seven Samurai and The Hidden Fortress. Although Star Wars is considered as an outdated film ranging from the digital effects, awkward acting, to the visual effects, we have highly appreciated it at the time when watching it in theaters. Now, Star Wars is considered to be one of the most classic in terms of the story and the imaginary world created by George Lucas himself. As with the whole trilogy, Star Wars begins like a fairy tale through a narrative which the story is set in a galaxy far, far away. When seeing the synopsis, we know that the settings taken in this film are the most extensive universe and it seems that there will be many things that appear in it. It started with a charming opening scene from space with an amazingly interesting impression, Star Wars is the most memorable opening with its theme songs composed by John Williams. If you watch this trilogy from The Phantom Menace, there is absolutely a common thread which it fits between the plots and the characters in the universe. Even though like that, watching it from the original trilogy feels like there is a mystery that keeps away from the universe. For example, a reunion between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader which it still confusedly makes us wonder if there was a great conflict that happened before this began.George Lucas also chose a passive method by introducing all the characters in the film. There is one of the iconic villains ever Darth Vader with his memorable voice-over from James Earl Jones, Han Solo with his puns jokes and always has a cool style, the duo robotic of R2-D2 and C-3PO, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The rest of the film focuses on characters who are in a miniature scope and seem like misadventures heroes who try to save the princess. Seems familiar, right? From the appearance of these characters, there is a significant knowledge of the universe but it is still not enough to conclude everything. Furthermore, this is a space misadventure from an innocent young man who doesn't know anything about Jedi and Force immediately start his journey. There is a lot of memorable scenes which make us nostalgic for this film. One of them is Luke staring at the sunset with the score from John Williams. It feels like there's something deep and huge outside the world which is waiting out there, waiting for the appearance of the main heroes who are ready to travel around space. There is Han Solo and Greedo while talking and suddenly one of them shoots a laser, forgot who shot first. There is one mistake where one of the Stormtrooper accidentally bumped into a door at the Death Star where the actor was also severely injured. If you are looking for one on one fights between lightsaber, there is only one and it is tedious. But, I watch the prequel which it feels like lukewarm greetings with long-lost brothers who have never met for several years and once again wants to finish what they didn't finish in the past. Of course, with an iconic character from Darth Vader who is so phenomenal because of his intelligence, his design costume is slightly inspired by samurai culture and his fear when intimidates a person. In fact, R2-D2 and Chewbacca become one of the characters feels memorable in taking their respective roles. With the actors, all of them got a phenomenal performance of the characters they created, although at least they sometimes turn out to be awkward for the small parts. Star Wars becomes a film with a new theme surpassed by an era, as well as 2001: A Space Odyssey or etc. Sure, some of the backgrounds are still unclear about the characters, who is this character and who is that. However, Star Wars is a classic movie known for a marker, a marker between the protagonist and the antagonist on-screen.Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope is known as one of the classic sci-fi films with a technology which has been beaten in this modern era. However, Star Wars became a superior seed in a sci-fi, action, and adventure genre. The most memorable tagline of the time, the characters are known for their individual characteristics, the visual effects were so brilliant at the time, and also there are many memorable scenes possible in this film. Star Wars instills an idea about the world of imagination, about a complex fantasy in all its details and presented in a stunning way from all aspects.

I thought it was alright :) i tihnk that the special effects were pretty ok for a movie made by a small indie company. anyways, i realy liked the rain troopers. they were very cool . why did queen lava lead the star destroyer to the rebellious house planet though ? that is my only gripe. but i also have one gripe? of other thing known as misc. one of the pilots known as biggs was shot down during the end scene when dark vatarm was chasing them? that personally was very sad and sdisappointing but other than that it was a great movie and harrison ford was handsom but i don't swing that way hahaha cheers : )

An excellent movie with everything. Entertainern, very good characters. Especially Vader and Luke. The space battle at the end was also very good. Han Solo, C3PO and R2D2 works perfect as comic reliefs. Very good effects for 1977. An excellent movie.
