Supelice Dreadfully Boring
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
billyg101 This film is pretty p**s poor , were do i start?! Lets start positive. The dancing scenes do have some great moments but they are normally ruined with the "wanna be" hard nut attitude as if they are in a mob battle. Yeps thats the only good. Bad now....Lets get started...The acting is very poor, it's just very cheesy and reminds me of a school play. I love the scene when Luke is angry with Natalie (not going to say why for spoiler reasons) it's just bloody hilarious how bad the acting is. The storyline......Oh dear, oh dear....Its very "cliche" and makes me laugh A lot when I found out i was right about pretty much the whole story line. I don't want to give any spoilers but the ending is very very obvious....To conclude: You're probably thinking why are you watching this film you idiot. Well we had to watch it in school and trust me this is not my type of film but everything i have said is honest and true. If you are a major dance fan then go ahead as the dance scenes are pretty "badass" but if you like a "good" film then stay away as this is a pretty poor film and very predictable and makes you cringe a lot. This is a pretty short and non detailed review but i think it covers what needs to be covered and i think if you are really up for it give it a go but as the rating show prepare to be disappointed.
davidrcastro1 I honestly believe there was no effort put into the story at all. Every single cliché the writers could possibly think up was in this, the rivalry the betrayal, the break up only to make up later and end up together, the wise friend who seems to know everything but is a background character through most of the film even the closing of the studio which required money to re open does landing the crew in a final dance off against their rivals. The only thing I enjoyed from this movie was the dancing, all the fancy moves, and the culture impressed me, but aside from that this movie was garbage. I compare this to"You Got Served" which received a much lower score on IMDb than this, though it shared an extremely similar story, though it portrayed a lot more emotion, and overall focused more on the characters than the dancing. All in all, if you're a dance movie fan, who really doesn't care for story, by all means check this out, if you're a movie lover, then this movie probably won't make you smile so skip it.
stepupgurl I love Step Up 3D and I cannot wait for the fourth film. I love Moose, Camille, Luke and Natalie and the Twins and the Ticks are very funny. If you love dancing and music, you'll love it again and again. I have just been playing this again and again on my Sky+ every night. It's the proper workout if you want to get slim without the back flips and somersaults. You don't even have to copy the dance moves. The acting in this film is marvellous and you can't get enough of it. You need to watch this film if you have not watched it because you will never forget this film and this is a summer treat. Great film. And marvellous dancing.
pva3232 I liked the 1st movie. I loved the 2nd movie. I will not be purchasing the 3rd movie. I didn't see anything special or ground breaking that I didn't see in the 1st two "step ups" or even "you got served". I just rented it on DVD - (No 3D) And I saw nothing new. The water scene seems like it came from Step up 2. The finale with the lights seemed to look similar to the the street scene with the flash lights from Step up 2. The dude with the camera couldn't dance. And sister of the bad dude had no street dancing skills. I liked the twins, Moose and his best friend, the robot guy and even bringing back some of the dancers from step up 2. My over all review. Step Up 2 was much better....
