Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
sapphiregrl I saw this movie a long time ago. When i saw it, my first reaction was not at all to Mena Suvari's character. I enjoyed the bloody scenes, they looked real enough. Now that's something to talk about. So I don't know why most of the reviews here talk about how Mena Suvari looks and how she acts. I don't understand all the people who laugh at Mena being cast for the role she played. She was SUPPOSED to be a white girl living in the hood, it was supposed to be stereotypical. Get over the fact that she was playing the hood-rich white girl who dates the typical hood guy; can't play pretty all the time. It was a good movie. If you are reading these reviews, Don't skip this movie because of some superficial reviews/comments. Its a good little movie. And also it's based on true events.
adi_2002 Brandi works as a nurse and is about to receive a promotion but after returning from a drunken night she hit's a man crossing the street. He remains on the car hood and being afraid she takes him home in garage. Now she will do anything to conceal the accident, more than that, with the help of her boyfriend wants to get rid of the victim but things take an unexpected turn. Is a weak film, I do not understand how those neighbors who saw him covered in blood did nothing to help, have not called anyone if they were afraid to call the authorities to the risk of being deported. Man hit by car seems to have both feet broken somehow managed to keep right up to the end of the movie. Why Brandi did not help, especially after he said he would take all the blame on him and it will not be held answered in any way. Her answer was short: "I do not know." I wish the film to be stuck after 20 minutes.
rael Mena Suvari is a young easygoing nurse who bumps into an out of job and newly homeless Stephen Rea and gets stuck in a situation she wasn't expecting herself to wind up in. Comedy and drama ensue.Stuck came as a true surprise to me. I didn't believe Gordon had it in him to direct a provocative social drama bordering on satire and make it as good if not better than his horror classics From Beyond and Reanimator. I didn't believe I'd be watching a movie starring Mena Suvari, who did a great job too. And Stephen Rea played destitute like few can.I hope Gordon does more non-horror films. Past examples of Mamet-scripted Edmond and Troma-distributed King of the Ants have shown that Stuart Gordon can put the bloodsoaked Lovecraft library aside and do something special. Lucky for him and his fans, he's not among the horror directors who have to cling to their 30yearold genre successes.
Marjeez Running at around 85 minutes, this is the perfect rental from the director of 'Re-Animator'. Stuck has an interesting plot and an impressive film to back it up. Mena, a young NA (hey, that's my job too!) decides to get high during a party. On the ride home, she hits a bum pushing his kart. He is stuck through the window, and she panics and decides to drive home. In her garage, she notices that he is still very much alive. The acting was a surprise considering I can't name any of these actors, who did I fine job giving a realistic feel to Stuck. The dark humor is plentiful but never feels forced, and trust me when I say this; you will look away at parts. Filmmakers of the horror genre should take note, the gore is there and it'll make you feel squeamish. It has the feel of an indie but the quality of a much larger film. This is a grade-A B-movie.Never in a million years did I think I would enjoy this movie as much as I did. It has many different genres in mind, but they all manage to blend together to create something special.
