Brightlyme i know i wasted 90 mins of my life.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
DCfan This is a decent tribute for all superman fans. Warner Bros did an okay job making this but it could have been better. But if you grew up with Superman in his golden age then you would enjoy this tribute its available on YouTube.
adonis98-743-186503 Produced by Warner Bros this short 75th Anniversary of Superman's character features every version of him from his early days in the 40's and 50's the great Christopher Reeve era then the animated series and of course Man of Steel (2013). Superman 75 is a great short film that captures the magic of the popular superhero but also it lights the character and brings nostalgia to the viewer especially when his theme plays in the background. I was never a huge Superman fan but with this and his original movies, the reboots and the animated series i actually started to like him because he's a man that gives hope a man called Superman. This short film gets an 10 out of 10 but also a grade of A+ because it really brought out what made the character famous.
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) 3 years ago, famous filmmaker Zack Snyder made this really short 2-minute movie as a tribute to Superman's 75th birthday. The title "Superman 75" already gives it away. I guess it is a nice summary, includes some shots with his friends and also decent fight sequences against antagonists and super-villains. The one I found most interesting was probably his doppelgänger. I guess if you are not really into superhero films and action or into comics, then this one will have little impact on you, but I personally think (not being a great comic fan myself) that this was a fairly enjoyable watch and (unlike some other work by the director) a successful outcome. If you like, Superman and are really an expert on him, then this is almost a must-see. I give it a thumbs-up.
boblipton Warner Brothers produced this two minute short to celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of Superman; he flies out of Action Comics #1 and we watch as he slowly changes: the Fleischer Cartoon version, the innumerable add-ons in the 1950s, from Supergirl to Super-Dog to Super-Goldfish to Mister Mxyzptlk (actually introduced in 1944), to his reinvention as George Reeves. Then we get his revival and restoration in the 1970s movie version and graphic novels....It's a puff piece, but it makes the real point that Superman has changed, as all mythic figures must in order to remain constant. In mythographic terms, the sign remains constant, but what it points to changes.Happy 75th Birthday, Kal-El.
