BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
monkey-man This film was OK but at times it got a bit crap the movies about how a married couple can not have children of there own so they get a surrogate mother to have the child for them. The movie stars actors like Seiko Matsuda,Bridgette Wilson,Scott Cohen,Claudette Nevins and Peter Boyle from the funny TV show Everybody Loves Raymond. The acting is OK in this movie and the story line is good and there are some good violent scenes in this movie like when Peter Boyle got beaten to death and the end scene in the movie. This film is a must see for fans of the Thriller genre or anyone looking for a OK movie and over all this film was OK and my rating is 5 out of 10.
BloodTheTelepathicDog Bridgette Wilson is the only draw for this film. It was fun watching Billy Madison's sweet 3rd Grade teacher portray a demented surrogate mother. She far outshines Rebecca DeMornay in the similar Hand That Rocks the Cradle.A wealthy young couple, played by Scott Cohen and the talentless Seiko Matsuda(what producer is she related to?), can't have a child of their own, so in enters Bridgette Wilson who becomes their surrogate mother.Bridgette adds such raw deviant emotion to this role which makes it worthy to see alone. I had no idea she was capable of portraying such a violent evil woman, but she pulls it off brilliantly.Peter Boyle fans, don't bother, as he wasn't used much. This is basically for Bridgette Wilson fans, who want to see a darker side to Billy Madison's item of lust.
EmptyLeo I admit i just watched this for Bridgette Wilson. I wasn't expecting much. What I got was a very predictable story - Girl chosen to be surrogate mother wants the baby for herself - with kind of a twist in the end. It seems the father had previously killed her parents in a car accident. Actually was a pretty good story to think all the planning that went into this beforehand. And Wilson did some good acting, some cheesy scenes, and there weren't any of those unnecessary 7 minute sex scenes. Pretty good movie, An almost 6 out of 10
Kar-2 Ths movie is thrilling enough to keep you glued to your seat to its (predictable and disappointing) end. What makes it worth watching is a fine performance by Bridgette Wilson who has to lead an otherwise pretty mediocre cast. Peter Boyd and Seiko Matsuda at least manage to look desperate enough to give their characters some credibility. Direction and script are also not really inspired but provide the suspense necessary to keep you thrilled right to the end. Photography and music are above direct to video standard.
