deshan-78580 WARNING: This review may contain some spoilers, so be careful a little bit.The Alien Dead is without a doubt one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life, this movie really goes to show you that Fred Olen Ray isn't that great of a director. Where to begin with this crap-hole, this movie is about a so-called zombie invasion obviously killing people, but this time in a small redneck town. This crap-hole has some of the worst acting I've ever seen in a long time, the non- existent special effects top with god-awful blood effects, the horrible music, pretty much this movie screams "trash" in all levels. Did I forgot to tell you that this movie has some of the worst endings of all time? Yeah, overall The Alien Dead is without a doubt the most godawful pointless boring movie I've ever seen in my entire life, I honestly dare you to find me a movie that's worse than The Alien Dead. Wish I can rate this movie a 0 but unfortunately until that option is available, a 1 out of 10 will have to do from now.

Raique Tavares Yes, as you might be thinking, this movie sucks hard. However, it may paradoxically be a good choice for horror fans who just want to laugh hard at a so-bad-it's-good movie. I gave it 3 stars, but it could as well be an epic 9 star movie, if it just pay more attention to the pace. The film becomes a bore at some point, despite his very low runtime, is a hard film to sit through. And this is a mistake a crappy horror/comedy flick like this shouldn't do. The FX are utter crap, which actually is a good thing, since you can't avoid to be amused by the halloween masks that the production use as make up. Alien Dead is a funny movie, but it's drag too much and that's almost a unforgivable fault.

Steve Van Kooten Not much blood or boobs. The Florida swamps are becoming infested by zombies that have, apparently, come from some sort of extraterrestrial shenanigans. It's up to the locals to stop or at least escape the terror. - - - Pretty much a reworking of "Attack of the Giant Leeches" that doesn't quite get over the hump from backyard production to amateur film. Fred Olen Ray, always liked him, tries hard and delivers some amusing scenes (the opening conversation is very Ed Wood-ian)and manages to keep the action going for the short running time. Still, the movie is too full of boring exposition and the action gets repetitive very quickly. There's entertainment to be had, I suppose, but it has the most value as a curious piece of Fred Olen Ray history. Not recommended.* out of 4

nakedcitizens1 OK, when you buy or watch a Fred Ollen Ray movie you don't expect Citizen Cane. You get what you pay for. I got the ALien Dead on VHS for only 3 bucks and i got what i paid for. I enjoyed it enough to not want to throw it away. The lighting is bad and the acting is horrible but it's one of his first movies, and the budget was really small. You have to work with what ya got. Maybe he didn't have great lighting equipment. So flippin sue him, Your the flippin idiot that paid 20 bucks for the DVD, not me! So if you hate him so much then stop buying his movies you losers. Flubby do bad and his ass mongers went to Dan's mountain to take it back. But Dan would not give it to them no sirree bob. So he got his gun out and cold-cocked the son of a b**ch
