reeves2002 I was really drawn to the cover art because I love horror movies and especially vampire movies if their not cheesy.The beginning when the credits were rolling was intriguing.I really liked the spooky music.The red candle,the images in the book and the vampire scrolls created a very nice dark Gothic atmosphere and mood.And then you see 2 girls walking down the street and the whole movie changed.It went from feeling like a genuine horror movie to a daytime soap opera because of their bad acting.Fortunately the movie picked up and I started to get interested again.For a budget that was low, the special effects were quite good.The actors looked more like models so this is probably why the acting part of this movie was lousy,but it was interesting enough to keep me wanting to see what was gonna happen next.The British guy made me laugh and the vagrant was a real character even though he didn't have many scenes.This movie finished with a sequel in mind according to how it ends.With a bigger budget it could be bigger and better!

zantheplank The acting was ridiculous(especially the English bloke. is someone having a laugh?), They may as well have been holding scripts in front of them. And i think they forgot to tell the cameraman about camera zoom cos he'd zoom in on the girls face then pan out to the blokes when they having a conversation.And also, one of the guys who gave it a ten had the justification that "it was good acting for amateurs". Well i'm not sure that that complies with the rating system.This is the sort of film to give hope to every aspiring film-maker who wants to direct. To be fair, it was so bad that we ended up cracking up at all the shoddy acting so it was an OK comedy i guess.

balterboy6 OK, for what it is, it wasn't that bad. Considering it was such a low budget movie I will allow some things like the setting and the really really fake attack scenes, and low sound quality. But honestly, they could have spent a little more on there camera and sound work. They almost seemed to be attempting to remake the effect of "Blair Witch" with the poor visual quality. And even a low budget movie doesn't excuse such poor acting. Most of the characters seem so wooden, as if they were reading the lines for the first time. There was no emotion, no feeling in the delivery. The plot wasn't to bad, though if they spent 9 days writing this movie, perhaps they should have been a little more prepared and waited another 9 to make some much needed repairs. The very definition of a B horror movie, if you want to make fun of a bad movie this is a choice, but not worth the 5 bucks I paid.

bethanyfebbles I recently saw this film with some friends at a film festival in LA. When I first started watching it, I thought, oh come on this is just another B film and I can guess everything that is going to happen. But I have to say that while I was able to guess a lot of it, there was some turns that I didn't expect and some of the scary moment really got me! It was a combination of the movie and also the music and harsh sounds! Even though I knew some of them were coming it still startled me! and for those facts alone I really enjoyed this one. Thats why you go to these kinds of movies, is to be scared and for that I applaud this film. Also the action in this movie was far more advanced than the other films I saw in the festival. So all in all I liked, don't get me wrong it had its share of dumb moments, but still very entertaining.
