What a waste of my time!!!

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

The documentary is clearly made from a polemic viewpoint but that's okay, quite common in film making. There are enough very badly made TV programs from an opposing and often confused viewpoint. Bizarre to see some of the ridiculous comments from those who are so-offended by this film? Eschatology is an astonishing topic and involves years of study and research and I know personally that this documentary has had a positive impact on people around the world - causing individuals to study biblical texts for themselves. That is surely a good thing. For a film about a very complex topic that needed to meet TV regulations, it was well made, particularly for its time. As the film, or should I say - The Bible states... only the wise will understand.

This is a great movie, extremely thought provoking and very well made. I was very challenged to read more into this subject afterwards; and found the prophesies are written exactly the way they are shown in the documentary.Any one with an open mind will love this movie and be challenged by it. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone. The negative reviews on here are clearly written by people with a hatred for the subject matter, the objections are neither logical or rational, but it does make me think about the tag line, "Only the wise will understand," Which comes from the book of Daniel chapter 12, in the context it's refers to an individual searching with a motive of integrity as opposed to arrogance.

Anyone who seeks to know more about biblical history would absolutely love this documentary! For the unknowledgeable and incompetent viewers who rated it a 1, don't watch it! It is said in the bible that from the moment you are born, it is preordained that you will believe in God or not. Even those who don't believe, but are skeptical and curious, may be saved from Judgemnt Day. That is the bridge you must decide you want to cross when the time comes and I feel this film can inform those who wish to seek that knowledge! You don't need to believe a single word he is saying, but the point is that in the end those who gain more information and seek the truth, are the ones who will be saved. Every bit of information gathered can only bring you closer to the truth and when the end of time comes, you'll find it a lot easier to make the decision of going to heaven or hell. I'm not saying everything in this documentary is real, but I didn't get to the end of it and think that for a minute the information provided couldn't be a series of prophecies. Overall, it was such a well put together and inventively directed film!

Oh dear, where to begin? First of all, if you are looking for an objective analysis of biblical scripture, you need to go elsewhere. This is the vanity project of a self proclaimed bible expert who has this insane theory about how we all live in the end days and he is going to explain why that is. But the problem is that they only discuss the pros and not cons of his arguments. There are no naysayers allowed in the documentary. They make Zeitgeist seem objective and reasonable in comparison. And the arguments! Some are truly beyond stupid. "We live in the end days because there is war and turmoil in the world today!" Well, that's true for the entirety of human history, the only difference is the weapons and the media coverage. "We live in the end days because people are mean to each other and are greedy!" Weren't they always? But my absolute favorite part (where I had to pause and collect myself from laughing) was when they insinuated that Obama is the anti-Christ. Are there any reasonable, sane people who actually think that? Sure, you can criticize Obama, you don't have to like him or his politics, but the guy is clearly not the devil. And as I said before, there is not a single person in the film allowed to speak up against these stupid "facts". And the whole film is framed by a "skeptic" bloke who narrate the documentary, while telling you exactly what to think at each moment. All in all, I came for a laugh and it delivered. Wonderfully stupid!
