Synopsis

The inception and ascent of Seattle-based post-punk band the Gits, whose rise to prominence was cut short by the shocking rape and murder of their fiery lead singer, Mia Zapata, in 1993. StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Jemima It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
Phillipa Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
