Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.
BroadcastChic
Excellent, a Must See
Lidia Draper
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Yash Wade
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.

The Howling: Reborn (2011) is a atrociously, lame, boring, horrible movie! I mean who wrote and directed this sh*t, a six year old? I rented this movie at a redbox for a dollar and change. After I seen the movie in it entirety (Excruciatingly to say) I nearly dozed off into a coma! (LOL) I've seen t.v. commercials way cooler than this crap I wish I gotten my refund back! In the movie the two leading actor and actress kept saying, "you have no ideal," especially at the end of the movie, I mean WTF was that all about, seriously? I mean, realistically it's more like they don't have a clue or ideal how the movie sucks and all of the cast and production crew film career is basically over! They need to start looking for a new line of work to do (including the writer or writers of this film) or go into the realm of doing amateur porn and that's probably what they would be good at f$%k&*g each other just as they F$%k up this movie! This movie is so awfully bad, it owes the box office money! I wouldn't recommend this sh*t to my worst enemy!

What can i say really about this movie, other then at the end of the movie, me and the other sober guys here at the party had said that this movie sucked, was lame, boring, infuriating/rage inducing, trite, unlogical and downright insultingly stupid. To mention a few examples: 1. The scene when he got a naked girl that loves him and he is really really horny, what does he do? he puts cloths on her..2. The "love" scene, there was more passion and chemistry in the subway tunnel scene in the movie irreversible, then there was in this entire movie.3. The burning of all the innocent werewolves that was in the exact same position as the so-called "hero", be basically murders more innocent then all the badguys do together.4. He makes the south park nerd at world of warcraft looks like a very charming and social guy, with lots of luck with the women.5. The main characters narration not only stops the movie dead every time, it is such a load of philosophical bull that i wanted to bash my head into the wall.6. The music was bad.7. The movie was bad, and not in a good way. There are a lot of movies in this genre, and I don't have high expectations, but for being so bad, it is also so boring.

In the Shermer High School, the teenager Will Kidman (Landon Liboiron) is bullied by his school mate Roland (Niels Schneider). Will lost his mother when he was born and he lives alone with his father Jack Kidman (Frank Schorpion). Will's best friend is the aspirant horror film director Sachin (Jesse Rath) and he dreams on his mysterious school mate Eliana Wynter (Lindsey Marie Shaw), for whom he has yearned for a long time. On his eighteenth birthday and eve of his graduation day, Will is invited to go to an underground party and he stays with Eliana. Will is drugged by a colleague and he has the sensation that a werewolf attacked people in the party. Out of the blue, Will gets stronger and stronger and he suspects that he might be a werewolf. When the evil Kay (Ivana Milicevic) meets Will at school, he learns dark secrets about his past and finds that Eliana might be in danger."The Howling: Reborn" is a lame movie, with a terrible story with many holes, poor special effects and acting and awful music score. Eliana is a strange character that seems to be strong in the beginning but totally changes her behavior. Will is unstable, and does not seem to know what he wants. Further, he never misses or grieves the deaths of his father and his best friend. A question: why he turns into a werewolf only when he is eighteen? Last but not the least, people are murdered, the school is burnt down but there is no consequence. My vote is three.Title (Brazil): "Gritos de Horror – O Renascimento" ("Screams of Horror – The Rebirth")

FIRST... I'm 35, very familiar with "the howling" franchise. I was astounded at the low 4.2 rating this film received?!!? First off: The acting was GREAT! Lindsay Shaw delivered an "evil" vixen performance in the beginning and a more subtle imperfect but lovable bit of acting in the middle and end. This girl had men from 8 to 80 mesmerized I'm sure. This also shows great writing and editing by the staff back at anchor bay. The lead also did a stunning job! This franchise deserves a lot of praise. The originals did great work in pioneering some ahead of there time FX but this reboot I think did the originals a lot of justice with a tight screenplay and A+ acting. I'm just one guy with an opinion so trolls please don't hate. For the rest of the people looking for a solid, memorable horror flick you can't go wrong with this movie. I hope this helps. I know IMDb is a little bit F*cked up when indie film, "Hellraiser: Winters lament" is the same or higher rated than this. Anybody know a better rating site?!!? Please help!!!
