At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.

One of the worst films I have ever seen. The actors can't act, the script must have been the idea of a teenager high on coke who have never written anything before but have seen a few films with a similar plot. There were visual effects that reminded me of some of the Indian serials which I would consider to be worse than porn artistically speaking. Such a waste of time and energy.

The movie is not even worth mentioning... only writing because I'm a bit mad for not stopping this movie after the first 10-15 minutes. I guess I got misled by few critic (not user) reviews.
One of the reviewers is right: this is a high-school project at best.

...but, it's original content. It's not "Machine Gun Preacher" or the TV Show "Preacher". It's not even a hybrid. I don't think it's even close to "Badlands" as others have stated. I think the movie is a drug fueld want-a-be preacher gets some powers from above. The GF thinks he's a nut case while she begs him for cash to buy some new shoes. The preacher is f'ed up from being beat up by his sob dad. The preacher wants to do good, but can never catch a break. The drugs consume him.

Started out well with a well worn but underused idea but it became confused and didnt really know what it wanted to be.Acting was patchy and it had a really promising idea but it was all just too muddled as though it was being written by 3 different people who hadnt read the previous persons script.The end felt contrived and done a 100 times before and it was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. Worth a rainy Sunday afternoon if you have seen all the Columbo repeats and there isnt anything else on but it isnt what it wants to be!
