Best movie of this year hands down!

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Robert Joyner
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

This documentary playfully recounts the journey of Norton Juster's classic novel, beginning with the friendship and collaboration of two young hip Brooklyn housemates--juster and Jules Feiffer, both from the Jewish immigrant world of the outer boroughs of new york city. With a Juster-like whimsical touch, the film looks at the book's creation, its reception, and its emergence as a classic, showing how it has touched the lives of generations of readers. The film interweaves multiple voices –the voices of its creators and of others who have been moved by them and their work—It gestures at the many allegorical meanings of a book that is—brilliantly illuminating, inimitable and--as we will hear in the film --"hard to summarize"
