It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

"The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic" says already pretty much what this 40-minute documentary here is all about: a making of for the very famous recent Disney movie "Frozen". There are some actually really good parts in here when they really elaborate on how they made this movie and we hear all the wonderful songs from the film as well. Some of the interviewees (like Menzel) offer great insight into their work for this film. However, there are some cringeworthy parts too, such as Lasseter comparing the characters to his son's diabetes and sadly, as much as I love him as a filmmaker, he has some more smh-moments in here. And "Frozen" of course was a huge favorite to win at the Oscars, especially for Best Animated Feature, even if the people we see here want us to believe otherwise. So yeah, all in all an okay documentary and it may get you in the mood to rewatch this animated classic. Thumbs up.
