Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Sammy-Jo Cervantes
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Billy Ollie
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

I remember buying this on video from Blockbusters during childhood. I actually enjoyed it. Really liked the villain called Zelda: I found her scary back then. I knew it was a sequel after first watching this, but I couldn't watch the original movie because I didn't have it during that time, and I heard the first movie was really good. I think the sequel is worthy even though it may not be as good as the original, and I say that because it does have ties to the original film. Unfortunately, I have yet to watch the original one, and unlikely I'll ever will because of lack of time, but if there's one thing I do regret from childhood, then it's because I didn't see the original Swan Princess film. It's something I would've loved to have done. The Swan Princess: The Mystery of the Enchanted Treasure is a little underrated in my view, and that's why I have given it a good rating. 6/10.

The overall outcome of the 3rd installment of The Swan Princess is decent. Mostly because the villain is more credible and the animal friends are funnier in this one compared to the previous movie. Most of the other returning characters also do a decent job. Uberta's and Rogers' interactions are quite amusing in this one. There are also an action scene including Odette and her animal friends which is great by this movie's standards. The climax is also stronger than in the previous movie. Watch it yourself, I will not spoil anything.Even though the story is similar to the previous movie, I will call it good enough to make it entertaining. Most of the songs are also memorable. The best is easily Derek's love song "Because I Love Her".Brian Nissen as Derek, though, is not very involving. He is the weakest of the original characters in this movie. There are also this new animal called Whizzer, which can be quite annoying, but occasionally has a few good lines.Flawed? Yes, but the best sequel of the two original sequels.

Today this was on TV along with the first movie(which I own on VHS)and I loved the first Swan Princess movie really I loved it as it was my favourite as a kid and I liked the animation and the characters, but this 3rd installment from The Swan Princess movies was awful. We get to see a new charcther who is working for this evil witch called Zelda who disguises herself as a Swedish slave and gets Rogers to fall for her and of course she ditches him for the forbidden of the arts spells, which Derek got rid of in the first film or maybe it was the second one. Odette gets kidnapped again by Zelda and turns into a swan again. So its up to Derek to save her again. There is one scene where we get to see the first swan princess movie and I was like really movie you had to put that in there, well there was no need to see the first one. The music was painful, the voice cast was meh and I wished Howard McGillan was Derek again as Brian Nissan was NOWHERE as good as Howard's version. Also was it me or were the creators desperate to show the first movie again and follow the same formula as the first one? Overall do yourselves a favor and watch the original again.

1st watched 3/29/2005-6 out of 10(Dir-Richard Rich): The 3rd entry in this series is a good story with pretty good songs despite a weak villainess who uses a goofy disguise to lure herself into the Prince's castle. Pretty much like the first two, this movie doesn't blow you away with anything great, but just is there as a good piece of entertainment. The main characters are developed well but the biggest flaw is a silly romance thrown in between the evil sorceress disguised as a Swedish maiden in distress, and a servant of the castle who is at his hammiest. There is romance and many hints of good character versus bad that is displayed for the young ones which is also a plus. All in all this was an enjoyable and well made piece of animation that will probably close out the series.
