StrawDog81 The guy was buff back in the early 70's (Still is) and Cunningham saw him walking on the beach one day during filming (think it was Jones Beach). Came up to my dad and asked him if he wanted to participate in a mock-documentary about sex in America. My dad said it was a real fun experience, Sean and Wes were true professionals and since my dad was into bodybuilding, he took notice of how athletic Chambers was. They became friends on set trading tips on how to keep in shape, sometimes talking about my dads book, but no sex unfortunately… Would have been fun being her kid. My dad even had the best scene in the movie. The fictional sex doctor asks my dad what he thinks about oral sex. Since there was no script and my dad was asked this out of the blue, he replied: "Well, that's a hard thing to say." He was so proud at the time that he took his mother to see it at the local theater, big mistake for anyone who's actually seen the film. I have a copy, albeit the one and only kind you can get from Germany, with no subtitles. But it's still fun seeing him in it after all the stories I heard growing up. Now that I'm a filmmaker myself I never hesitate to show a reference to it in my work. My only wish is that they release it in the states, IN English! But Sean is against it. He claims that it's a piece of sh**, and he's still embarrassed by it to this day.
ozzfan2 Granted this film in its own right is extremely rare and expensive when one does find it, beware. The film is usually dubbed in either Swedish or German, and is relatively pointless. Sure, there are a lot of naked people, but this film couldn't even be categorized as "softcore." It's mostly just people at a commune talking about their bodies and what they like about sex. Big deal. However, it is a crucial film, considering it is with revenue generated from its slight grind house/peepshow success that Craven and Cunningham were able to do "Last House on the Left," and subsequently "Hills Have eyes" with Peter Locke as producer. The rest is history.
