filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Dalbert Pringle (*Movie quote*) - "Eat my dust!!" The way I see it - (Regardless of how flashy, colourful, and fast-paced "Tough Trucks" was) - This picture was basically just a shameless 1-hour product-plug for Tonka in order for them to sell their toys to the gullible kiddies.Visually speaking - Yes - "Tough Trucks" was actually quite an impressive, little display of CG imagery. It really was. There's no doubt about that.But - On the other hand - The characters in this story were all annoyingly stereotypical like you wouldn't believe.It was especially "Tonka Joe" who grated on my nerves the most.I mean - Here was this big "aw-shucks!" macho-man jock who was put in the totally degrading position of having to prove himself worthy in the ever-judgmental eyes of a fickle, sulking, snot-nosed 11-year-old boy.It really killed me the way Joe (who was otherwise overloaded with self-confidence) would suddenly get all tongue-tied and bashful whenever he was in the presence of an attractive woman. (Spare me!)
