Reviews

RyothChatty ridiculous rating
ChampDavSlim The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
ActuallyGlimmer The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Zachary P. This film is a beautiful allegory for the human condition. Audiences today have been raised on instant gratification, explosions, and constant action, which explains this movie's low rating. This film requires a very sharp mind to fully appreciate; it is full of beautiful, subtle nuances that consistently brought me to tears nearly every scene. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a film.As volcanic eruptions shake the world, a mysterious stone appears on a small pacific island. A small boy, armed only with a single sword and shield, goes forth to do battle with the ancient stone. However, he and his fiancée Leslie discover that there is much more to being heroes than simply slaying pterodactyls. Vulcan is your classic love story, yet a romantic comedy that is a refreshing change from its stale pterodactylian predecessors. The boy is torn between his devotion to his kindly aging father and young lush lover. The film opened my eyes to a grayer sense of morality. Though it may be difficult to fully understand the true intricacies of Vulcan on your first run-through, you may find that re-watching it on acid tends to improve it drastically.P.S. dinosaurs, Dinosaurs, DINOSAURS!!!!!
