Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
ChampDavSlim The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
mcberryman1 this movie wish upon a star is just like the movie freaky Friday where the mother and daughter exchange both body's and personalities in-order to learn how the other one feels in-order to get along with each other better in life but in the movie wish upon a star its the sisters that trade body's and each others personalities and skills and achievements and i love this movie so much that i wish they would bring it back on the Disney channel and or TBS,TNT,ABC family,ABC,THE FX CHANNEL,the cw/formally UPN AND ON CMT!!! so on the scale of 1 to 10 i would give it a 10 and two thumbs up!!! and i hope that they make a sequel and/or a prequel too?
Julie Sauceda I was living in Utah when I first saw the movie in the Disney Channel in 2000. I really liked the movie, I was 15 then. But I still remember the story. I've been wanting to buy the movie in a store, but I haven't find it yet. I remember that when I saw that some parts of the movie were filmed in the High School I was going to then I got so excited. Ha ha! I thought that for some reason I would be in the movie. That movie brings really good memories. I hope to watch it again really soon, after 6 years. And to feel like that 15 year old in High School. Why is it that I haven't seen it again in the Disney Channel? I wonder if some other people think the same.
pinkprin_xoxo When I first saw this movie I was like 8 and I remember wanting to be like Alexia and have that life style and boyfriend. It was a great movie and then Disney stopped playing it and that sucks because it's really a good movie. (Some Spoilers) I thought that the sisters had a real good bond at the end it made the movie cuter and the whole Kyle and Alexia relationship was sweet. Haley was funny when she was on that table in her outfit and Alexia is practically molesting her boyfriend ! But I got upset because Disney usually played that movie and I would wait to see If it'd be on and now it's 3 years later and it still hasn't played...So I bought the movie off Amazon for 6.99 good deal. The DVD has some stuff that they didn't show on Disney which is cool just like things they say like Alexia was talking about the festival and she says " screw the festival" and the whole cafeteria scene which is funny. So If you love this movie I love you too!! Go buy it or rent it because you'll love it!!!
TxMike A nice, PG teenage film, about two sisters who are totally different. The younger one, a sophomore, is plain and studious, the older is glamorous and a marginal C- student who is in one of those ubiquitous "cliques" in high school. One evening, they both wish upon a shooting star that they were each other, and the next morning they wake up that way.As the story goes, they end up appreciating each other, learning some lessons, and eventually wish together, holding hands, to revert. The parents are Psychology Today readers, and are experimenting with bringing up their children to learn from their own mistakes, so basically any way they want to act, or dress, is OK with the parents.Nice brainless diversion for adults, an entertaining film for teens, I give it a "6" of 10.
