Let's be realistic.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

1. Dudley Boys Vs. Too Cool Vs. Lo Down Vs. Taz/Raven Vs. Right To Censor - Not top action, but good opener 7/10 Thing with Acolytes and T&A never result as a match.2. Cage Match: Chris Jericho Vs. X-Pac - Funny ending how X-Pac ended on the cage doors with his balls. 8/10 3. Right to Censor Vs. Billy Gunn/Chyna - Eddie turn on Chyna and cost a match. 6.5/10 4. No Holds Barred: Stone Cold Vs. Rikishi - I never was a fan of brawling matches. This one ended in the background, when Stone Cold got arrested. 6/10 5. WWF European Championship: Champ: William Regal Vs. Naked Mideon - Naked Mideo? Not a chance. He is probably the worst wrestler of the rooster. Awful gimmick, but regal was good. 6.5/10 6. WWF Tag Team Championship: Champs-Hardy Boyz Vs. Edge & Christian - E&C were dressed like Ding Dongs and it killed heat, I know it sounds weird, but really. And the won over Hardyz in clean way. 7/10 7. Chris Benoit Vs. Triple H - Classic, classic wrestling match. No screw, only cheap shot into Benoit's groins, then pedigree, then victory. 9/10 8. WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Champ-The Rock Vs. Kurt Angle - Enormally great match. I was out of my breath when Kurt Angle DEFEATED Rock for the Title!! 9.5/10

WWE No Mercy 2000 was a huge letdown of a PPV. I remember the huge hype was on 3 matches only. Steve Austin vs Rikishi, HHH vs Benoit and Rock vs Angle. The ppv starts off with a highly anticipated contest the Dudley Boyz Tag Team Table Elimination Invintational. The match had the Goodfather and Bull Buchanan, Tazz and Raven, Lodown (D-lo Brown and Chaz) and Too Cool and of course the Dudley Boyz. As you can guess The Dudley Boyz win by last eliminating the Goodfather and Bull Buchanan.Six Person Intergender Tag Team Match: The Acolytes and Lita vs T&A and Trish Stratus. This match never got underway since Test and Albert attack Bradshaw and Farooq before they came out and then Test and Alert along with Trish come out to punish Lita, but before too much damage was done the Hardy Boyz come out to make the save.Steel Cage Match: Chris Jericho vs X-Pac. Being that I am a huge Jericho fan I was really looking forward to this match. Despite the fact I wasn't really a supporter of this feud since Jericho deserved much better than a feud with X-Pac. This match was a big improvement over the match they had a month ago at Unforgiven. X-pac hurts his neck in this match when he runs at Jericho and Jericho flips him over the ropes and X-Pac gets caught and lands on his head. X-Pac finishes the match but Jericho wins and we don't see X-Pac again until Feb. 2001.Val Venis and Steven Richards vs Chyna and Mr. Ass. As if I were excited for this match anymore. Chyna's ex Eddie Guerrero makes an appearance and gives the match to the RTC. Time Filler match. No Holds Barred Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Rikishi. This was the point of the PPV that it went into a downward spirial. Everyone was excited that Austin was actually gonna whoop some ass and the person who ran him over a year ago, but what the fans got was a cheap poor match that ended in a No contest. Who ever heard of a no contest result 2 times in one ppv?! The match ends when Austin takes Rikishi outside and attempts to run him down with his hillbilly skull truck but the police make it there and Austin slams into a police car. Twice! Austin is arrested and Rikishi is attended to by medics.European Championship: William Regal vs Naked Mideon. What a horrible gimmick for poor Dennis Knight. I mean he does not have a body for being running around as William Reagl put it "Willy Nilly In The Streets" Regal plays that he is sickened by this display of nakedness by Mideon, but still gets the win.Tag Team Championship: The Hardy Boyz vs Los Conquistadors. For a team that came from out of nowhere they sure got a tag title shot pretty quick. If you didn't know this was Edge and Christian by the time this PPV aired, you must not have been paying close attention. Edge and Christian did this since they could not get a shot at the Hardy Boyz due to Mick Foley's ruling, so they dress up as the conquistadors and are able to win the titles back. They loose the titles the next night on RAW when Matt and Jeff do the same thing.Triple H vs Chris Benoit. Match of the Night. I always enjoy watching a Benoit match no matter who it is against. Triple H at the time was teasing the Babyface turn as Benoit was the Heel who had headbutted the game's wife and cost Triple H a shot at the WWF championship. HHH and Benoit have had some good matches, but even though this encounter has been forgotten, this match was top notch. Two straight excellent PPV showings by the game and also two straight ppv wins.WWF Championship: The Rock vs Kurt Angle. The Main Event. Angle's time had come. Hs rookie year would culminate with WWF gold at the expense of The Rock. Rikishi try's to help out The Rock but messes up and along with a Triple H pedigree costs Rocky the match. Angle wins his 1st WWF World Title and the tears flow as Jim Ross shows his disgust and the lackluster PPV came to an end with Angle crying and holding the title. No Mercy had only maybe 2 good matches, well 3 if you think Angle's title win was at all surprising. I give it 4 stars out of 10. As for WWF(E) PPV's the next PPV Survivor Series was a slight improvement but was still missing something.

This pay-per-view was a big let down in my opinion. Stone Cold Steve Austin finally can get his hands on the person that run him over with the car, Rikishi. But the match was a big disappointment. It was just an short match and Stone Cold went insane. The other matches are not very good either. It's not worth the money to buy this one on video.
