Boobirt Stylish but barely mediocre overall
Lucybespro It is a performances centric movie
GetPapa Far from Perfect, Far from Terrible
ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
gangstahippie Your Studio and You is a 1995 short film about Universal studios made by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, future creators of South Park.Your Studio and You is very funny and has an all star cast which includes Demi Moore,Sylvester Stallone,James Cameron,Trey & Matt themselves and plenty of others.Your Studio and You is basically a spoof of those 1950's educational films(even shot in black and white) and its about how they can make universal studios better! If you have not seen this, you should check it out because it is very funny. You can find it on youtube.9/10
Trey_Parker_Freak19 This short is great because it's honest about hollywood...it pokes fun at it! Everything about it is not too far from the actual truth. It's also got some great celebrity appearences. Trey Parker is one of the great film makers of all time, so believe me, this is worth seeing! This film is sort of hard to find, but you have to try to find it and watch it.... it's funny.
insane_larry In thinking about it, it might even be better than South Park. It's straightforward, fairly simple, and funny. Really, a brilliant little film. I've only seen this once on a horrible stream from a now defunct website and was impressed with both the writing/narration (both obviously Trey Parker with Matt Stone) and the fact that so many famous people made appearances and treated it seriously. An example? Seeing Steven Spielberg driving the Jaws ride and getting zero reaction to his enthusiasm was a moment in cinematic history that barely anyone will get to see if this doesn't get released somehow.
tuck007 This is a terrific parody of 1950's informational films. It's an underground Hollywood movie, just like Parker and Stone's "Spirit of Christmas," which prompted South Park. It's a very funny, tongue in cheek look at Hollywood.
