jtungsten16 I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on here about 9JKL, I think it's a great show and I am very entertained every time I watch it. I really think the show is funny and I also love the characters. The writing on the show is awesome and I love the whole premise of the show how the family is all together and living in the same building, right next to each other. I think this show will get even better with time. The first season of any sitcom is always a little shaky and they usually don't find their voice and get comfortable in their roles till around episode 10. All in all I think 9JKL is a great show and I want to see it succeed. Give it a try people!

tsimms-64083 This show was slow at first, but it grew on me as I started to understand the characters of the show.I like where it has the potential to go. It is not a never before seen the type of show, but it is one that you could really like and look forward to on a boring Monday of watching.

tiarella-98833 If you find irritating characters funny then this show is for you. I find irritating characters irritating. As others have stated, it's more like a 90's sitcom where an actor's lines setup the other actor to deliver a "humorous" insult rather than true humor. I like sarcasm, but this fails. Acting is overblown and is more like a high school theater performance than a prime time TV show. Might be salvageable. Some shows find their way late in the first season.
