Catherina If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Aaron Redis Let's get one thing out of the way: "American Housewife" certainly isn't the best comedy out there, especially when compared to other ABC comedies. That said, it isn't bad. It's just . . . ok! It makes me laugh, which is what I set out to do when I watch a show like this.What I do like is how it keeps it real, which is funny to see! It's fun and quirky but the characters also feel like ordinary people you'll see and encounter in day-to-day life. The basic storyline alone is relatable, and if that's what people are looking for, I don't think they'll be disappointed here.The funny thing is, actually, it's normal people trying to assimilate in a richer, higher class, which can make the situation even more relatable and enjoyable for middle-class people, which will most likely be those who are watching this . . . like me! They stumble their way through the community, and it's quite fun to see what comes of it -- the funny remarks about those who are richer and, as what will be seen as here, maybe even "snobby."The thing is, though, when compared to other comedies out there, something is just missing here. I'm not sure what the missing puzzle exactly is, but it's something that's much easier for other shows. Perhaps it's because this story has been done before and maybe even done better. But that's okay. The bigger picture: the show works! It makes me laugh.All in all, it's quirky, it's relatable, it's funny. It does the trick. I give "American Housewife" a 7.3/10.

jsmoe-15902 I must say that this show is perfect. The people who are negative about it must be the Ones who like the idiotic shows that are politically charged ie Will & Grace or Murphy Brown. This show is so apolitical it's a relief to watch. There are not Little whiny jabs at the president from actors and writers who are hysterical about there chosen candidate didn't win the last election This show has a great cast with seasoned actors along with very talented new comers. I hope it stays around as long as the company of actors and writers think it should.

tigersams-61506 Addicted to the show !! Finally a show with no PC- crap ... what you see is what you get . the writing is pure genius ,and the actors each and one of them are gold . The only downside is because it has no PC-crap ,the show is on the danger zone of being deleted , i hope not . I just LOVE this show

skatergirl-86436 I really love this show. I just started watching it tonight but I love it so much. I love the humor and that Katie doesn't give a damn about what anyone else thinks. I also like how theory use the small town as a humor point as well. I also enjoy that they are proud of their daughter who doesn't always fit in. I want to be like Katie when I am a mom someday! They are a loving and very fun family to watch for sure!
