Ploydsge just watch it!
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
BroadcastChic Excellent, a Must See
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
ggspot81 I love Mel B. Hate the rest of the cast and show. All you see on the show is Big choirs and a big dance time trying to make it big. A side of the one little kid that wants to grow up fast and become a star. Pass on the show. Thank god they took off Mr. Mariah Carey off the show.
davisnathan I'm writing this in late July, 2016. Judges are horrible (possible exception---Howie). Simon is awful--the girls add nothing to the show. The level of talent is exceedingly low this season----and I'm pretty sure the show's producers have done something unbelievable to try to fix it.They apparently went to some Eastern European country---and HIRED A CIRCUS. Not kidding. Half the contestants can't speak English, and appear to be from some broken down Eastern European circus---they are appearing as individual acts or couples---but I am pretty sure they were in some broken down, has-been circus---probably available pretty cheap (tough economy over there). Unfreakingbelievable! And they are BAD!Knife throwers, contortionists, high wire types---all pretty bad, probably not making much money in Moldavia or Romania. Apparently "America" doesn't have much talent. My only hope is that when they finish up and head back to Eastern Europe, they take Nick Cannon with them. He is the worst "MC" in the history of American TV---but maybe that broken down circus will have a spot for him over there!
hemril This show is probably one with the most misused potential I have seen in a long time. Too much attention is focused on the judges. We see them arrive, in their dressing rooms and most annoyingly, too many times during the performances. The editing of this show is what turns me off the most. During spectacular performances, there are too many cut aways from the performers to show us the audience, the judges and the host. Not that there should not be any. But there are way too many cuts from the performers. I have no problem with the choice of acts or the trigger happy judges who buzz just because they don't like the contestant's looks. I think the judges get their time when they make their comments. They don't need more. Too bad, because the British version has the same flaws. I have seen enough.
OllieSuave-007 I watched the first three seasons of the show and thought it was semi-fun watching all the contestants vie for the judges' votes performing acts ranging from magic shows to acrobats, and from acting to dancing. However, this show also allows singers to compete and, as a result, a large number of winners (if not all) are singers. There are already multiple singing reality shows including American Idol, The Voice and the X-Factor; therefore, I think we do not need singing to dominate America's Got Talent especially when it showcases other talents BESIDES singing. This show grew old on me after the third season, as it becomes predictable after the auditions that the winner will no doubt be another singer.Grade D-
