Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

This show is where the messed up encounter the bizarrely creative. The first episode introduces "vampire cars," and that's before the intro. It introduces so much in plot, world building, and creative ways to dismember living beings, but it's all incredibly fun. This show is amazing for those that love splatters. Those that don't would be advised to stay away.

This series is written "as if" it was produced in the 1970s-1980s about a dystopian future in 1999. Each episode is a homage to a different type of grind-house film, and part of the fun is figuring out which genre is parodied in each episode. The actors are fresh and exciting. The script is full of sex - the series uses small black boxes to cover what cannot be shown on cable TV. And blood. Lots of blood. As it is a written as if it was made in the 1970s, the characters show little fear of HIV/AIDS or other pathogens that could be in all of the blood (or other bodily fluids) that splatter about. There is a phone number which you can call and register a complaint about the series. The series also has parody advertising. It is one of the most creative and boundary-breaking science fiction TV shows in a long time.

i understand the need for a flashy opening - but i was hoping for a little more fleshing out of the background rather than "watch this and hang on" story telling big sections made so little sense - perhaps a proper voice over commentary at the start might have helped .... not going to watch any more - sorry gore fans

Blood Drive Season one.. This is easily the most genius creation to hit cable TV screens in a very long time. In our world today, a world where violence and terror and death leaves people living in fear and with little reason to get up and smile in the morning. We now have a show that emphasizes these realities and actually brings people together with it in a humorously beautiful way and I love it. The caliber of acting is amazing, the set design and costumes and music , you name it. What an amazing experience. Blood Drive is what the world has been waiting for and I cant wait to see more seasons come our way SOON! (nudge , nudge wink, wink SYFY) James Roland.. We salute you Sir!
