Incannerax What a waste of my time!!!
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Lela The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
zaster-76772 They always just agree with whatever the police have already concluded. They don't have any new evidence or special access. I also agree with the other reviews that they pump up the emotional drama in an insincere way. I love most ID shows but this one's weak.
jerjohn-57924 These two start from the very beginning catching the audience up on the past, present and then watch the fallout of the new findings and or confirmations. This is entertainment, every series has it's own spin on drama so I don't even try to base my rating on the drama. The true emotional intent and their approach to the final theory are excellent and gives the viewers hope that justice will soon be served. Every episode may not keep all of us sitting on the edge of our seats but I have no doubt that Derek, Kris and the ID team will raise the bar in the hunt for justice with every cold case. The show is up to date and uses modern technology in criminal investigations. It has a young cast and crew that are working hard to crack the case and continuously keeps the viewers in the know.
thegrinch-9 I usually like the Investigation Discovery shows, watching how the evidence falls into place to nab the killer. So I tuned into this 2-parter of "Who Killed Faith?" without knowing anything about the show. I was SO disappointed. The death of Faith Hedgepeth was already an open murder investigation by the Chapel Hill (NC) Police Department, and they have the forensic evidence. The "detectives" in this show (Derrick Levasseur, former police detective and Kris Mohandie, forensic psychologist) did NOT have access to some of the most pertinent evidence in this case, such as fingerprints and DNA. In addition, they could not even talk to all of their suspects. I still thought they might come up with the killer using old-fashioned investigative work (think Columbo), but to no avail. At the end of the show, they offered their 2 cents (a theory), but that was it. This is a sad excuse for a show and I expect better from Discovery ID.
lynnw61 Agree with previous post of fake crying. That was difficult to watch, and undermined credibility. In addition, I'm not sure how responsible it is to tell family members about accused when there's no indication they went to the police first. Shouldn't the authorities be involved before they give out names? What if someone in the victim's family decides to take matters into their own hands (especially since it's been a cold case for years)? Seems pretty irresponsible to me. I like many of the ID channel shows, but this one's a miss. I probably won't watch again.
