Some jokes land. This show might be okay if 90% of the gags didn't involve some animal or person being turned to a puddle of blood and guts. I don't see what's so funny about it.

This is a pretty late review, but I just wanted to say my thoughts. Brickleberry (in my opinion) in season 1 was actually pretty funny to me. I liked that they tried use sexual jokes, but not overkill. It was something I enjoyed when the show first came on. Now, lets go to season 2 and 3. Complete crap! Season 2 was generally bad. I may have sort of liked a couple episodes, but barely. Season 3 was just awful. Bland, reused crappy jokes, gross-out, and just cluttered with middle schooler sex jokes. I felt as if they were trying to get the show cancelled. I wanted this crap to end. I checked Wikipedia one day about the shows viewership for season 3. Most episodes in season 3 had less than 1 million viewers. WOW!!! I was so glad to hear back in early 2015 this abomination was cancelled. After that, there were 3 episodes they didn't air (because they weren't finished in time) that they aired in March. I still watched them, but they were even worse than all the normally aired episodes from season 3. Bye Brickleberry, I will not miss you at all :)

That title sums things up. I don't hate adult animation. In fact, I like shows like Futurama, Rick And Morty, and American Dad. Unfortunately, the mindset of most adult cartoons these days is to throw in as much gore and raunch as possible because it's "grown up". That is not grown up. That's immature, and shows like Brickleberry show why. The idea behind these people working at a nature park has a lot of ideas for storytelling and jokes, but it's wasted on tasteless shock humor and bad morality. Every single episode is poorly written and panders to the lowest common dominator. The characters are either jerks, idiots, punching bags, bland, or even all of the above. I admit the animation is nice, but good visuals can't make up for bad humor and writing. With all that said, that's why I stick to kids shows. Shows like Gravity Falls have great writing and shows like Mickey Mouse (2013) have great comedy. If you like Brickleberry, that's fine. This is just my opinion.

I was skeptical to the show at first but the more I watch it the more I love it! I understand why some have given this a 1/10 wile others 10/10 because it has a special humor that if suits you you will like and if it doesn't you will hate, simple as that. I find the characters funny and diverse contributing to different types of humor and jokes. The comedy in this show is raw and a lot more brutal when compared to American Dad and South park. I find it quite similar to Family guy at times but with its own direction and niche. To sum up I would like to say that it is far underrated and would love to see more season of this show in the future.
