It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

I caught this on Netflix. All 7 seasons. Good acting all around. Good writing and directing. Explosions and action. Yeah it's fantasy stuff not real life. Thankfully. Largely likable characters with (to me) the exception of the chain smoking mother. Even then, she could bring tears to my eyes. The "yogurt" thing was weird and funny. Every episode it seems the characters eating ... YOGURT. Surprised it lasted 7 seasons. A testament to the creativity of the team that kept it going. The helping people theme a good sell to keep the viewer watching.

It's got action, mystery, romance and a whole lot of dry sarcastic humour that never ceases to make me laugh out loud. Jeffrey Donovan is equal parts badass, charming and emotionally damaged as ex-spy Michael Westen. With the support of the irreverent Bruce Campbell as womaniser Sam Axe and Gabrielle Anwar as the pint sized love interest & former IRA operative Fiona Glenanne who likes guns and violence just a little too much it makes for one hell of a fun ride.Like most TV series there were seasons that were better than others but overall it's a strong narrative with amazing performances from Donovan. The man can make you cry and take your breath away with a simple look.So suspend your disbelief and go with it, you'll enjoy yourself.

I loved the premise of a burnt spy doing freelance work while trying to find out who burnt him and why.Pros- I love the narration, that to me makes the show. Knowing what the main character is doing, why and the intended result is interesting. I like the camaraderie between Sam, Fionna, Madeline, Jessie and Michael. I like when they involve Madeline in their "jobs". It's pretty cool watching her evolve into an honorary spy. The fight scenes are always fun to watch too. Cons - The whole "Robin hood" style approach can get old and there are times where I think the characters are too noble (primarily using bean bag rounds is a little silly). Fiona is attractive but not the end all like the show portrays her. In 7 seasons I only ever saw one guy resist her charms. Really?? No woman is that hot. I really don't like how Michael can be manipulated so easily. He is repeatedly blackmailed throughout the series making him appear weak.

Just finished watching the complete series and i have to say that burn notice was an amazing show. The combination of the characters is one of the things that i loved about it.You have the lead character, who is a super smart tough guy with a great spy skill set and the supporting cast, which is the sexy,a bit crazy, explosives expert girlfriend, the marine veteran with a drinking habit who i must say is my favorite one and the leading character's mom who becomes more lovable with every season. There are new characters coming to the show as the seasons go by and all of them are well written.Every episode is a new job for Michael and his crew and some cool stuff for him to do and for us to see.I enjoyed all of it and i recommend it to everyone who likes action series.
