KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Cristal The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Jack It was among the best TV show at the time. It was very good at the time. If you like to fantasize about witchcraft and magic, I haven't found any other contemporary TV shows or movies as good as Charmed. It was legendary for this genre. If they make a remake of Charmed it would be exciting as the original was not in HD format.
tapio_hietamaki As a fan of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', I don't think there's anybody who would seriously argue that 'Charmed' is the better show.Comparing the two is easy. They're from the same time period, both are fantasy shows with female leads, focusing on relationship drama and monster-of-the-week episodes while also having season-long story lines. 'Buffy' has vampires and demons, 'Charmed' has warlocks and demons. The difference is that 'Buffy' takes itself seriously. That's a risky move - being serious in a show about a high school girl fighting the forces of evil is harder than taking the 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' carefree comedy route. 'Buffy' makes it work. It builds a world with deep mythology, remembers the rules of its own world even when it breaks them, and doesn't discard characters without a good reason.'Charmed' is halfway there. It's lighthearted and fun, and sometimes it takes steps towards actual drama, with characters making difficult choices, but things always end up neatly resolved and we don't really learn anything. It's just senseless feelgood drama. And there's all that pointless pandering. Do we really need an episode of the hot young sister turning into a creature that physically cannot wear clothes? 'Buffy' was a true feminist show that never reduced its characters to sex objects. 'Charmed' does it all the time.
Realrockerhalloween Charmed is about three sisters who happened to be witches and deals with them coming to terms with their powers. It started out as a monster of the week type format before switching into a serial. The charmed ones would often have to deal with morals finding out about their magic, relationships, sisterhood and any type of demon or Warnock sent by The Source.During season four, Shannon Dorothy left the show due to infighting between the caste and the decision to to be more kid friendly. The new introduction of Paige, their long lost sister, revived and kept it alive for five years. The show was best when it really dug into its roots by exploring their r family treat in the witch is back or All Halliwell's Eve. The sisters were about to bound, learn different types of magic using nature and had a great villain in Balthazar.Cole became a regular during season three and during that time was involved with The love of his life Know be Halliwell. When they finally took on the Source he became possessed and they became rules of the underworld. It was the saddest romance in history and didn't end well for either of them.It would be further explored in season five yet it was cheapened and made all the shippers hate the dynamic known as Pheole.Charisma Carpenter and Billy Zane were two surprised guests gave season seven a boost in ratings after the fluffy season five and dreary awful season six.It should've been the last season to go out on Yet money talked and got the worst finale season I've ever seen. It Was voided of magic, departure of long time cast members and raise of the same sets for every scene.Charmed started out as a nice show to watch on Sunday nights and was a favorite of mine.I guess it goes to show that when it comes to quantity over quality that it should've ended in season four.
ThreadKiller Jigo Charmed is like a self-serious friend in high school, think O'Bannion from Dazed & Confused. It expects you to laugh at all it's joke like they are reinventing comedy, when in reality it's just basic, repetitive, regressive, "Men do this, Women do this" situational comedy. It expects you to take any amount of drama, large or small, legitimately important to their universe and story or petty crap between friends, completely serious, no matter how ridiculous it all gets. And, above all, like that titular friend again, it expects you to care about them when the only character traits ever shown are egotism, aggressiveness, pettiness, and selfishness.Only the nostalgia of watching this when you were a child trying to watch something "grown up" to prove your what you though was your worth at the time. Or maybe bonding with a family member when they felt like soap operas were just too well-written for their taste.
