Synopsis

Crash Zone is an Australian children's science fiction television series which aired on the Seven Network from 1999 to 2001. It was produced by Australian Children's Television Foundation, in association with the Disney Channel, and ran for 26 episodes. The series starred five high school students, "high-tech whiz kids" of varied backgrounds, who are hired by the president of the Catalyst software company to save her failing business. The premise of the series was unique in that it was one of the first series to examine the early use of the internet as well as the video game industry and artificial intelligence.

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
mraculeated The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
kaysudheera Absolutely brilliant TV series. One of the main reason that got me to Computer and stuff. It is a shame that there were only 2 series.
salsos67 Brilliant kids t.v show, which even adults would enjoy. The characters(apart from Virgil, the computer animated character) are believable, and it is fast paced and action packed, which leaves people calling out for more. The story lines are terrific, and it is a shame that there were only two seasons of it.
Lexie_663 Compared to some of the plotless garbage made for children's televion today, Crash Zone has to be one of the best TV shows around - I'm almost 15 and I couldn't think of what I'd rather be watching on TV.Each of the characters - and actors - compliment each other and the story lines can stand alone or run together.Quality in a children's TV Show hasn't really been seen since the days of the first series of 'Lift Off' with Poss.If it came down to it, there is practically nothing else I'd rather do than watch the adventures of something as light hearted as six kids and an AI overcome challenges. Kids and computers - it hasnt been done before.Crash Zone is one of the best TV shows to come out of Melbourne in a long time.
Jack's Cold Sweat Following in the strain of children-based adventure shows (eg. Round The Twist, The Wayne Manifesto, and *shudder* Lift-Off) The Crash Zone is a show with the "edge" of having teens teamed with computers and a wacky computer-based entity (didn't see that one coming)But seriously, for a show that, on the surface, seemed childish and stupid, it's hard not to like characters with a real human attitude, as compared with Lift-Off, a show whose cast needed only to speak Grade 2 English to get in (forgive me, i just really hate that show)And also, does anyone see the resemblence between Nikolai Nikolaeff and Nate Richert (Harvey from "Sabrina The Teenage Witch")? It's damn scary.
