Reviews

WasAnnon Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Yash Wade Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Gavin Venter On it's own it's not even worth watching. Horrible writing, piss poor research. Got what it deserved.
woodjwood3 I am a avid watcher of the original Criminal Minds, and when I saw that they where doing a new spin off I was looking forward to it, but oh dear. This program is terrible I am glad to find out that it has been cancelled after 2 seasons. The plot is basically US is great and the rest of the world is just incompetent mindless idiots, what makes me laugh is the opening credits where it says millions of Americans leave the safety of our own boarders each year. The show consists of the team invading a foreign country guns blazing and full jurisdiction putting the locals to shame and solving the crimes in a super quick fashion.I read a comment that said this show is Team America World Police and I think that sums it up completely, furthermore the shows researchers are absolutely appalling in fact I would go as far as saying they probably didn't have any researchers , the show in Turkey they where speaking Arabic!?!?! and each episode just offended every nation they supposedly visited.
greengoosepumpkin You can't tell from the overwhelmingly juvenile reviews, but obviously (given its overall rating) there are many of us who do enjoy this show. It is difficult to capture an entire country in less than an hour. However, I think the producers have done a fair-handed job. To all the people complaining about the overwhelmingly corrupt and poor locales, where do you think the IRT (if it existed) would be called out to. In countries with strong fair legal infrastructure, the IRT would not be needed unless called on to consult (example:Italy). The premise is successful.
fruitbat00 Got to say I was not a fan of the parent show. I gave it a try but just never got into it. This came along and I have always admired Mr Sinise so I thought I would give it a go. I watched the entire season willing it to convince me it was worth my time. It didn't. The episodes ranged from okay to bad to insulting. Now this was ALWAYS going to be a hard sell, because we know they are NEVER going to leave the back lot of L.A. They wont be filming in Thailand, Egypt or South Africa. And sorry to say it shows, big time. Some of the sets are so obvious its cringe making. This detracts from the stories and spoils the overall feel of the show.Added to the obvious L.A. back lot feel there is the cultural clichés that are insulting. This isn't a show about other cultures this is a show about Americans basically pointing out they are far superior to everyone else. So much so that they need to send in their own police to help the poor inept, corrupt, bumbling police forces of the world. And that everywhere outside the U.S. is dangerous. Well look to your own backyard America. This is insulting TV and insulting narrative to the countries portrayed so far. The U.S. TV industry has a very poor record when it comes to portraying other cultures. I was hoping this would be different that it would be an intelligent and up to date look at world crime fighting and law enforcement co-operation. And yes in some instances non co operation. But to be honest even in the shows where there was co operation it was still condescending. It is very poorly researched with multiple errors and plot holes. And visually does a very bad job of convincing you they have set foot outside of California. No fault of the cast, I liked them all, but this is not worth the air time.I am very surprised it is back for a second season. As much as I love Mr Sinise I will not be watching.I really can't understand how some far superior shows were cancelled and yet this substandard offering made it to a second season.
