Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Bounty Hunters from what most people in reviews here claim they are low lives and are white trailer park trash. Not all bounty Hunters are like that. The best example was Ralph"Papa" Thorson whose life inspired the book and the Movie the Hunter which was Steve Mcqueen's last movie. Thorson was a honorable man. He did his job tracking down Bail jumpers people who were either guilty of a crime or staring at three strikes and a jail sentence. Papa brought them in every time Because usually a great deal of money was on the line or someone's house was on the line. Papa also took in some of the felons he caught and gave them jobs or a roof over their head. After they came out of jail. After Papa Died his wife Dottie took over the business and ran it the way Papa did.Papa alway believed in redemption and second chances.Duane "Dog " Chapman and his wife Beth are right from the same mold that Papa was made from. Dog and Beth have made mistakes which included jail time for Dog it was time in a Texas jail for murder. However when he came out a few people believed in him and helped him turn his life around. So he became a Bounty Hunter and attempts to do the same thing. He offers redemption and hope. A lot of people call Dog and his family names. But what about the people who run and let other people lose homes cars or great sums of money. Dog and his family have a lot riding on this usually anywhere from 10 thousand dollars to sometimes 50 thousand dollars. The bail jumper if not caught and brought to jail or court makes them liable to lose that money. Those people are the true trash. Dog Chapman and his family at least try to offer them Hope and redemption. Sometimes the answer isn't always there until someone points it out. The show is maybe the best thing reality TV has to offer. At best it's inspiring. At worst it's entertaining.

Dog The Bounty Hunter, once an ex-convict, now a born again Christian, united with the woman he loves and his family around him, reaches out to those in need of help, whether they want it or not. He does in the guise of being payed by the Government, capturing those who need to be punished by the Law, and tries to lead to the right side, through the name of the Lord.Sounds like something written by Sunday School? Well, no, because it is in fact the inspirational true story of Duane Chapman, and is captured in this brilliant nightly half hour TV show. The best bit of it is the humour, the down-to-Earth behaviour of Duane, AKA Dog, and his family, his mad, bad and hugely hair-domed wife, his sons and nephews and his brother, all working under the main Dog, and the showing of both their work and their home life helps them seem like real human beings, making their story all the more inspiring.

I enjoy this show, however it is absolutely stupid. Dog is a bounty hunter. However, Dog can't fight. Dog has a horrible temper, along with his girlfriend (later wife) Beth. He often gets mad and yells at the people and then pretends like their good buddies. He carries mace around and sprays it in people's eyes. This show is entertaining to most, I'm sure, but it is a show full of simpleton idiots that I often can't stand. Sometimes the situations on the show seem almost soap opera or sitcom-y. It's a ridiculous show, and Dog is a bit uneven tempered, though he also seems like a nice guy, so I'm sure most will enjoy the stupid going ons. Dog My rating: ** out of ****. 60 mins.

I love watching Dog The Bounty Hunter mainly because he shows how people can turn their lives around. He has a couple of splendid pieces of eye-candy in the form of Duane-Lee and Lealand. Dog should get a lot more recognition in this country for what he does and maybe bring Bounty Hunting to the U.K.The current season of Dog is just as excellent as the first two seasons and hopefully he will make another one soon. The one thing I can't understand is why on earth Justin was in the show to begin with? I mean if you watch the first two seasons then you will understand what I mean, he didn't really do anything. I think the only time I saw him proper fired up was when he had a bust up with Beth over a fag.As I was saying if you enjoy shows like cops, Police Camera Action, Street Crime UK then you will love Dog and his Family. As the great man would say "I'm THE bounty hunter"
