Synopsis

Aoba lives on Midorijima, a small island to the southwest of the main islands of Japan. He lives with his grandmother Tae while working part time at a junk shop. The popular pastimes on the island are the ongoing turf war called "Libstease" and an online game set in the virtual world of "Rhyme." Aoba isn't involved in either, preferring to live peacefully, until one day he is forced into a Rhyme battle.

Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Abegail Noëlle While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
gaslei If you are not patient enough to reach the sixth episode (meaning spend over an hour), don't even start. Everything that happens until the fifth episode is fast, exciting and mysterious but with no closures! Many things happened and let you hanging, others are like you skipped an episode. Personally, when I got what all this was about I decided I wasn't interested and that's why I rated it with 4 (for wasting my time). But it's graphics and writing are good. If you are patient and the concept earn you you will probably like it (although I don't know the ending to support this theory). Personally, I think 12 episodes are not enough to conclude such a deep story. Up to episode 6 there were so many questions unanswered that it would take at least 24 I think. Please share your thoughts with the rest.
