Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

Why-o-why can't directors tell their actors to speak in a normal voice like everyone else does in normal life. I'm watching the 3rd series now and it's getting worse and worse. If it doesn't get better in the 4th series I quit watching and lower my rating.

I just love the way Sherlock has been portrayed. The man is outright brilliant but not without his flaws. However, to balance it out Watson comes into play. Who, during the course of various seasons gradually develops herself as a detective and also the most important thing to Sherlock. Overall, the episodes are nice but most of the times it is the ending which takes the cake as it leaves you wanting for more...

Lucy Liu doesn't fit as Watson. Let's see episodes with John Oliver or Daniel Cumming.

I gave it 7 because I liked the way Sherlock applies logic and interpretation, the details that he finds which every one else misses and I liked how it was depicted in these series. I liked the Moriarty being Jamie rather than James, I liked the Watson being Joan rather than John, I liked the father of Sherlock, Morland having a powerful characterization (WOW! John Noble, you did great!) especially how it worked out in Season 4 finale. That was brilliant. I cannot imagine anyone else other than John Noble in Elementary and I don't want to watch anyone else other than John Noble.Captain Gregson and Detective Bell are good additions as characters and cast.I would have given it a 10 but I did not like the way Sherlock treated his family i.e. Mycroft and Morland. They only have to make amends but he wouldn't budge even a little. And I didn't like the abrupt removal of Mycroft in Season 2 finale.I would have liked to see the budding romance between Mycroft and Joan elevate further, which was nipped in the said episode. I would like to see that Sherlock makes amends to the relation he maintains with Mycroft and Morland. Because the series depicts his emotional awkwardness, which I think Sherlock should acknowledge and correct himself to be complete as an individual. I would like to see Mycroft on screen again and rekindling his romance with Watson. And during every interrogation John Lee Miller has the same set of expressions when he comes out. I didn't like that either. Other than that I think John Lee Miller did very good.Overall, I would say that the casting was excellent and every one fares well.I am not venturing to compare this with Sherlock, because those two are entirely different interpretations and depictions.
