SunnyHello Nice effects though.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
jtoh-96230 This show is alright. The messages are decent, the animation is just as magical as Sofia the First and the visuals are somewhat impressive. My biggest problem with this show is that I don't like how Elena became a heroine. I really hate how she sticks out that she has to protect everyone in an annoying way. Besides that, the show is good and fun for children.
dinergirlt Since making her debut in Summer of 2016 Disney Channel has proven itself to making magic happen with Elena Of Avalor and since Elena Of Avalor made it's debut it has become a blockbuster hit with girls everywhere and since it's debut Elena Of Avalor has soared to popularity and has inspired everything from dolls to toys and kids clothing and other merchandise. Although not officially part of the popular Disney Princess line yet Princess Elena is an excellent role model for all ages and in each episode of the show has a wonderful storyline great songs and a lesson for girls to learn. Some episodes deal with many problems girls face today like being a good sport making friends decision making to many real life situations such as starting school and moving to a new house. Craig Gerber really is a genius when it comes to creating great cartoons and with Craig Gerber's neat talent it's no secret Elena Of Avalor is such a inspiring hit cartoon to come out from Disney Channel in years and I hope Disney Channel makes more episodes of Elena Of Avalor in the future because the third time really is the charm for Disney Channel and it's all because of Elena Of Avalor
isisfan-36064 This show features positive messages for young viewers in a great format! The music, dialogue, and characters are easy to enjoy without pandering or being obnoxious. There is plenty of Latin culture, history, and artistry to each episode. The fantasy characters (like the Jaquins) provide the "magic" and imagination that kids expect in Disney fantasy plots. Now that we've watched the first few shows a time or two, Our 5-year- old explains Elana's backstory (being trapped in an amulet, her grandparents and sister being trapped in a painting) to anyone who will listen. Like Disney Princesses Mulan, Merida, and even Sophia, she is not worried about needing to be rescued- she learns lessons and figures things out on her own. Our mixed-race and mixed-heritage (Spanish, Cuban, and Irish) family with kids aged 3-12 loves this show. The adults in our family appreciate the music, cultural references, and even the Spanish words in each episode.
lynnchien I think that this show is really cute, and that the art is well done and successfully looks like Sofia the First. The songs are intriguing. But, if this is supposed to be a show for Disney channel, I don't think it belongs there. Disney channel's targeted viewers are 8-12 and possibly a bit older. This show seems like it is for children 7 and under. This show belongs in Disney Junior, and if it is, then great. One minor thing about this, though, is that the plot is pretty basic. They need to go deeper with the meaning behind the story. It just doesn't make sense that a girl was stuck in an amulet and wasn't freed until many, many years later. That just doesn't add up.But altogether, this show seems like a good show for children. Teens and adults might find this a bit boring, though.
