Marie Morgan I just finished watching Season 2 and am so glad there isn't a Season 3 that I have to decide whether or not to watch. Halle Berry - every moment on screen is a opportunity to over-act. We're meant to believe this drama queen is a leader? As if that's not enough, they create an evil Halle Berry robot! Complete with greasy slut hair. Just in case we didn't get the full range of her acting prowess. At the top of all the suspend-belief moments necessary in scifi - who would create a smug, smirky, sex-crazed robot? Right up there with an American tech company creating a terminator who speaks with an incomprehensible Austrian accent.

tzihlmann Season 1 was good. Within acceptable parameters, half way realistic, believable characters, watchable.Season 2 starts really awful. 1 Episode to get rid of all characters from season 1, and then back to save the world. The characters in season 2 are horrible. The Governor from Walking Dead playing a soft general, who has problem in launching a drone attack or getting his man killed. Seriously? Negan playing the detective, who is deceived so many times, you might think he is a noob. The lab assistant who tries to be a boss. C'mon. Some unknown lady representing the government, telling the AI crew to skip all ethical programming. And what are they still doing in Yamamoto's Tower. Wouldn't you think such important project gets relocated away from private business. No Way. This is all so stretched that it does not join up anymore in a nice way. Cut scenes to erratic too. Only SCI-Fi part are the yellow contact lenses.

Neil Procter I managed to stay with season 1 of Extant,although at times it was tough going. After a couple of episodes I've given up on season 2. It has the hallmarks of yet another show that was sold on the seed of an idea - woman comes home from a long space trip pregnant - and has floundered along ever since. Even the opening sequence of season 2 irritates me because it describes in detail what happened in season 1, almost as though they know we were so un-engaged that we've forgotten. Goran Visnjic was wise enough to get out early. David Morrisey has joined the cast as the new focus of evil. It's yet another alien invasion story but strung out ad nauseum. Yet more kidult nonsense I'm afraid.

iain-997-725308 This series had about the same intelligence as any given old-school Power Rangers episode, but with worse acting and even worse special effects. I feel sorry for the creators of it, because they seriously lack talent at what they do. Spielberg has a long history of shitty series, and quite honestly, I don't know how they can afford to keep making garbage like this. All of the actors were disinterested in their roles, and you could almost read the "man this is crap, when do I get paid?" expression on their faces. This the end of the Berry career. As for the screenplay itself...if you were to give a child a box of crayons and a handful of paint, they could create a better one. It's truly embarrassing, I feel shame belonging the same species.
