The fact that this show exists at all is a testament to Olan's talent as a content maker. It's not a perfect package, but it's full of heart. Really, that's a good way to describe Olan as a general principle, but in any event, there'a a lot of solid talent behind the cast and their characters all feel natural and immersive in their own way. I'm not sure how often this happens, but I've heard comparisons between Final Space and Rick and Morty, which is understandable though lies mostly in their simplistic but vibrant art style and maybe even their pacing.
This show isn't for everyone, but at the same time it feels like a very accessible show that, given more traction, will likely develop upward in quality and popularity, not that it was particularly lacking as of writing this (first season). I'm a fan of Olan's and am eager to see this one grow.

I have skipped this title many times on Netflix because it seems so childish. One day the trailer played automatically and it seemed really interesting so I gave the pilot a chance. So glad I stuck with the rest of the series. One of the best series I have seen - and I am only on season one!Final Space is not like Family Guy or The Simpsons like I originally thought - it follows a plot and the character development throughout the first season is so well written. Characters that I thought were boring and/or annoying turned out to be my favorite characters. The story has a perfect mix of funny and more serious themes. Final space has it all; family stories, comedy, drama, love story and an exciting fantasy world that we get to explore. Can't wait for more seasons to come out.Give the show a chance - you won't regret it!

This is one you want to stick with to the end. The First few episodes are a bit slow but you'll fall in love with every character and may even shed some tears like I'm doing right now. Loved it!
