ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Yash Wade Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
SinisterCinephile Harry's Law I believe was truly an underrated show. While it of course suffered from the fact that it is a legal drama so a lot of material / events are recycled or expected - it didn't make much of a difference. Harry's Law kept me interested and entertained because of the close connection that I felt I had to the characters (Credit to the brilliant cast of Underrated actors - besides Kathy Bates). The show did a very good job at keeping its characters relate-able and moral. It was only in its second season so it did have a few things that need to be fixed of course but the show didn't deserve to be cancelled. I definitely recommend that anyone reading this review watch Harry's Law.
janet2004 Harry's Law was Fun to watch & very interesting because the office was in a 'High End' shoe store rather than just some stuffy old office & the staff were 'colourful' & all had ' hearts & experience ' to solve some pretty 'meaningful' cases rather than just same ole corporate stuff. Please bring back Harry's Law!! I very much enjoyed watching all the cases as many of them were very challenging & usually did not fall into the usual typical court cases, such as the ' Bullying' case where a teenage girl was being accused of murder after posting things on Facebook that caused another girl to hang herself, this is a very important issue today & this show gave a very good example of what can happen in that KIND OF SITUATION IT IS AN EVERYDAY ISSUE!
dentmargaret Harrys Law is like a breath of fresh air to the Television networksA superb cast of characters that are developing beautifully as the series progresses ,its insightful ,very clever writing . it really exposes the judicial system in America and its many flaws,Tommy Jefferson what a character,He is brilliant ,what a clever idea combining a shoe store with a Law Firm ,Only in America could this happen, with each episode the characters develop, I now have a program that i truly look forward to every episode , congratulations to all of the actors involved and all of the people involved with making the series.
TxMike We know from the history of TV that lawyer shows (e.g. Perry Mason) started out all pretty serious. But we the fan base soon get tired of "serious." It is too much like our daily lives and we want to be entertained. In more recent history, lawyer shows (e.g. LA Law, Ally McBeal, etc) became less serious, more quirky and we enjoyed them more. That's entertainment. So now Kathy Bates comes along as Harriet Korn, nicknamed "Harry", and we instantly like her. A lady named Harry. But it doesn't stop there, as Bates is one of the best actresses in modern times. Every movie role she has been in has been memorable. So we would expect her TV role to be just as memorable. The TV series is well-written, and gives Bates plenty of room to act the tough, probing attorney. We watch it every week, always something special. Christopher McDonald is part of the regular cast and he is a hoot as lawyer Tommy Jefferson who isn't afraid to tackle any case and is likely to find a way to win it.
